PDFimage+ 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
After a closer look I bought it. I was acctually looking for ICC conversion of images in PDF and also with the same rendering I normally use in Photoshop: Relative + Black point compensation. Also found that more can be done to images in pdf's, like USM etc. When asking them the developer promised a server version soon. Little pricy but helps me alot so I should not complain. As said before, this software is really nice. Now I made a hole bunch of BW in it and i can to the same quality in Photoshop without playing with every image for at least 5 minutes each. Try. Very interesting. Cheers [alert admin]

PhotoPerfect DigiCam 1.2.1r3 (Mac OS X)
Good soft. I like when things are done by them self, automatic. All the other auto stuff I have tried, including auto features in Photoshop CS2, does not do the same job as this little software. And it has full ICC support. So I would call it professional even though I use it for my "home" images. I have a friend in the graphic biz that use it at work to enhance all camera shots from their clients. I went futher now and bought the pro version, CMYK Production plus. It does the same if you want as Photo Perfect digi cam: enhance the image from RGB to RGB if you choose an RGB working space as output profile but this sotfware can also convert to CMYK or BW. And the CMYK conversion, done with same bloody profile as in Photoshop comes out better. I repeat, ONLY CMYK conversion is better, more accurate to the print!!! Please tell me how that is done??!! Anyway. Damn good for the money, both Photo Perfect and the new one I just bought CMYK production plus. Try it your self. I have also tried another software from them that does the same for images in PDF. Also professional: full ICC support etc. These guys are not fiddeling for sure. Cheers [alert admin]

CMYK Production + 2.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I tried and bought. First I tried Photo Perfect Digi Cam from the same company and it similar but no CMYK option but the images comes out very nice. The enhancment is really good. Now I tried this CMYK Production software. First I only used to convert images to my CMYK profiles and the result is better than in Photoshop. I do not understand how this software can do that??? It is simply more accurate to the RGB original. With the same ICC profile!!?? Then I discovered that this software had the same, or even better, features for enhancing the images before converting them to press, then the Photo Perfect. So I can now trash my Photo Perfect. No big deal though, only 30-40 euro. Anyway, good stuff. And it is automatic. I have tried to create similar auto features in Photoshop but I cant get any consistancy in it. But this work. Try for yourself. [alert admin]

One thing I cant agree with you: That you can do the same thing in Adobe PS elements. I cant anyway. Not even in Photoshop CS2. The auto features stink. It jumps in any direction and if not careful I loose details in high lights etc. This work all the time for all images. Cool. More I dont this software need a manual. It is to simple for that. I asked for a manual on mail and they told me: please…
