USB Overdrive 10.4.5 (Mac OS X)
I have tried USB Overdrive with both a Logitech Rumblepad 2 and a Macally iShock II. Neither gamepad's right thumb-stick is fully supported, while these pads both work fine in software that supports them. I've had the Rumblepad for about a year, and e-mailed the developer of USB Overdrive several times after I bought it, with no responses whatsoever. I have recently tried contacting the developer again, with identical results. If it doesn't work with any gamepad I've tried, and there's absolutely no support from the developer, why exactly should I spend any money on it? [alert admin]

Coffee Break Pro X 2.2 (Mac OS X)
Feedback from the developer...
I'd like to say thanks to everyone for your comments! I've noticed a lot of people saying Coffee Break Pro is too pricey. Unfortunately, it is a niche product (ie, has a limited audience), and thus must cost a little more. For years I charged only $5-$6, and that didn't even pay for the development tools. I would eventually have had to drop it at that price. Priced at $20, it has been significantly more successful. Also, I like the comment about the horrible graphics! I, too, feel that the program has outgrown the screen saver graphics that have been with it since 1994. I plan to do something about this at some point in the future. If anyone wants to submit graphics, let me know via the support form on the BitJuggler website. [alert admin]

I like how you can't quit the program until you have created an account with the online service associated with Plague. I guess that's what force quit is for. Followed up by a quick trip to the circular file. Oh, and it is *extremely* deceptive to list this as freeware. [alert admin]

"I purchased version 5 and found that the ability to go cross plaform was nothing for me compaired to the inability to use direct toolbox calls on the Macintosh" This is absolutely untrue. I have mixed feelings about the current version of RB 2005 (which is r2 at the time of this writing), as many others do, but please at least post reviews that are truthful, folks! RB has given access to the toolbox…
