Nice name, lol...

Nifty, I'll be interested to see if this works better then the PHP/MySQL study aids I wrote when I learned Japanese. [alert admin]

teleport pr3.5 (Mac OS X)

Who needs a KVM switch.

I have 3 macs on my desk; a 867 G4, a powerbook 12" g4, and a Mac Mini. Each one has teleport running on it, letting me slide my mouse and control from one to the next almost seemlessly saves me all the trouble of switching usb cables back and forth when I need to use the other, and no wasted space with extra mice and keyboards. Gives you the power of multiple machines, with the convenience of multiple displays, just as though they were all on the same machine. An excellent peice of software. The only thing I could possible think to need would be the ability to drag files between them. As it is, definitly still a 5 out of 5 star product. Excellent work. Suggestion: Could benifit from a terminating escape sequence in the event the client machine becomes locked up to release control back to the host. Some key sequnce you could strike. Cheers. Physics 101 SE 5.0 (Mac OS X)

Best physics calculator hands down.

If you use physics at all and want a comprehensive and effective tool for doing your calculations this is the one. No high school (or even college) physics student should be without it. I've spent who knows how much time trying to think of a formula that I would need that isn't in the prgram and just can't, and in the event that I did (or anyone else for that matter) its only a matter of a request to the developer to find it in the next update. Version 5 is no exception, and better then ever. Excellent work, and kudos to the developer. Worth every penny for students. [alert admin]

Delicious Library 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Complete waste of money.

What a complete waste of money, when you could be spending your hard earned money on something usefull why waste it on this epic peice of steaming %#$&. They didnt even design the "pretty interface". If you want a easy way to search your DVD collection...try using your eyes. If you have enough DVDs to make scanning them into a catalog worth while then its not possibly worth the time of scanning them all in, when this program isnt going to put them into your player for you. So you would still need to dig, sort, or look through them to find the disc so whats the point. If you want to spend your money on something buy some shareware thats worth it, or at least some more DVDs or CDs. [alert admin]

VersionTracker 6.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

No offense, but...

I agree with the above, that it looks horrible. The header seems to light, and thus the flow of the page is lost and everything seems cluttered, and on top of that the Ads stick out in an irritating fashion. [alert admin]

Poisoned 0.492 (Mac OS X)

Firewalls

Firewalls are only a problem for some clients and networks, if you cant connect to ANYTHING there is prolly something wrong, as even if you are behind a firewall (i.e. College) you should still be able to connect to clients who are not behind firewalls. [alert admin]

GiftBoX 0.9b7 (Mac OS X)

Kicks ass

I have been using alot of differnt P2P clients lately, this being the first one using giFT. However, I am very impressed. The UI is quick and responsive and results are fast and reliable. Its stable, simple, and work great. Very sweet. If you havent downloaded it yet, do so now, you wont regret it. [alert admin]

If you dont want it, dont download it.

This program works as advertised. Empire, if you don't want a program that does this, then don't use it; but otherwise, shut-up. No one wants to hear you rant about the possible morality of some uses for a program. For you information, you could use a AIM users IP address to block all messages from them regardless of what screen name they use it. So, contrary to your half-witted comments, there are plenty of perfectly respectable uses for this application. So in reality, your only reason for objecting would be if you were one of those people who is harassing others via AIM, and would be a possible target for retaliatory actions. [alert admin]
