Endicia 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

SILVER BULLET FOR MAC PRIORITY AND EXPRESS USERS!!

Priority or Express Mail via the USPS is the best bang for the buck to offer a consumer for lightweight inexpensive priced items that need to be trackable. It is a proven fact that online buyers yes/no decisions many times hinge on shipping cost. For 1 pound you can send a 3 day package for $3.85 including free packaging material such and envelopes and boxes. The new version of this software is even better than the last. Yes it is $20.00 a month for Endica but it will pay for itself if you are doing more than 20-30 packages a month. If your printer jams or a label mucks up getting a credit back to your account is a piece of cake. For the Mac user, a major problem has been the Java interface with the USPS- problem solved. In addition, it is very helpful that shipments are automatically tracked with 2 clicks with a visual colored button for various stages of purchases and shipments. The software has description, insurance and email fields that provide a log, which can be exported to a spreadsheet or database. A customer has a question. . .you have an answer. . .fast. eBay sellers, and small business shippers who prefer a Mac and a simple, affordable shipping solution need to give this (to me) sanity saving piece of software a try. I am not paid by Endica or any company or individual related to Endica/Swordfish. I am taking the time to do this because others should know that this is a winner and keeps getting better and the coders at Endica/Mac should be given a job well done. There is a version that works on a Windoze platform. [alert admin]

TaosPhoto

It is this type of non-user friendly & overly touted software that makes it diffacult for user to determine a budget for software. I have been messing with this *$&Y# for almost a year and in my opnion it's junk and I'm sorry I purchased it. I was hoping for a free upgrade that might make it mmore user friendly. Garbage. . .save your money! [alert admin]

iLabel 1.7.1 (Mac OS X)

I tried all…

morning to get this to do 84 per page slide labels and I could not get it to work right. To begin, when I launched it Safari would load. I finally closed my internet connect and it loaded. Then I re-loaded it and it launched the browser again. I re-booted and it seemed to load right but would never get the margins right. . . a few other issues. I really wanted this to work! CADtools 2.1.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

I've been trying…

to find a basic CAD/CAM program for the Mac OSX and it is very surprising how few choices there are. While I have not made a final decision I will say that the customer service of Hot Door has been outstanding. Because it is a plug-in and not a stand-alone program, it presents some problems to make it fully functional in demo mode without forking out the $199.00. However, they offer a 90 money back no questions asked trial, so overall it's worth looking at if your already working in Illustrator. [alert admin]
