Synergy 4.0.1b (Mac OS X)
Ok. I was using Synergy for 4 years now but I don't see for what I have to pay now anew using SnowLeopard... The new version of Synergy uninstalled the previous PrefPane and told me then that I have to pay for the upgrade. Thanks for uninstalling, but I'm not going to pay again for a software which had not added anything different to the prior version. [alert admin]

iFinance 3.0 (Mac OS X)
You can use easily the basic features but don't expect that the csv-export works well if you have to deal with Excel, not to speak from a reimport of the data. Also you can't change the currency in an account, which is in Europe sometimes necessary due to the EURO-changes in respect to older currency. Some of the colours you can asign to the categories are forgotten by the programm from time to time. Some crashes ocurred also for not very clear reasons... ...there has still a lot to be done. The date-format is also not the same in all the fields, a calender sometimes shows only half, the rest of it is out of the screen if you work in a fullsized window. [alert admin]

iVolume 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I used this software now for a while, and the most annoying is, that the software writes comments with timestamps in the comment-field of all songs of which the volume was adjusted. I asked the developper to change this, but he seems not to like to stay in contact with his customers. I don't use it anymore. He work now at equinux, but I hope not in the support... [alert admin]

Booxter 1.9 (Mac OS X)
This is a very good software to manage your library. I have 1500 books which are treated with ease by this software. Ok, older books without ISBN or LCCN you must type in manually, but for me it's ok, you have to do it only once... The price for this software is very good - it is worth the money. For the future I whish a possibility to use Booxter also as source for quotations, maybe as a system service. [alert admin]

PPPoE Connector 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I've tried this app now over a month and it keeps my Mac online perfectly and stable. As far as I know this is the only app doing it. Just start the application and you know what to do - the matter isn't complicated anyway. A bit annoying is the price - 20 Dollar seems to be a bit much, half the price for non-commercial use would be allright and a help for all people which are still disconnected from their provider after 24 hours for example. And which don't want to allow any application to connect to the net automatically. If the developper would change it to a pref-pane and the function into a background application it would be better - it seems that the developper thinks to do so in the future. [alert admin]

Babya E-Type 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Don't install! Crashes Finder, dammage TextEdit!
This is almost the worst software I have installed on my Mac since MacOS9. A shame to the programmer to release such a product. It's from a Windows software corner though ... [alert admin]

It is a good idea, but other programms load covers more quickly and are not such hungry for RAM. At lot has to be improved - ok, it's still beta. Keep on working, I will retry later... [alert admin]

The program didn't function - not showing up pictures but terminating itself. I think a lot has to be done still. (Using MacOS X 10.4.3 / iMac G5) [alert admin]
