LaCie Update Tool 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Adding to my prior post. The latest Lacie Update Tool can be found by running the older (bad tool) and accessing the "Check for updates" with the main menu of that tool. Takes you directly to the LaCie download. Hope this helps. Save me a lot of grief. [alert admin]

LaCie Update Tool 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Newer version LaCie Updater Tool 2.01
Well... My brand new LaCie disk was bricked by version 2.0. After several attempts I "discovered" a newer LaCie Update Tool 2.01 just posted at LaCie. Behold! It fixed firmware and finally properly applied the firmware update and successfully mounted the drive. All prior data seems to be intact. Even if your drive was trashed try this new updater. Good luck [alert admin]

SOHO Organizer 5.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Folks - be very very careful! On converting from StickyBrain 3.x it replaces your working DB (as mentioned in Read Me) but then fails to initialize in new version with no clue as to what to do AND kills other OpenBase DB's as an 'uninstall' deletes the entire OpenBase app. Their Support site hhas no anwsers yet so recoommned this be avoided until Support site offers more detail. Agreed. Will not launch. The usually reliable and useful updates have hit a major snag.
