phpMyAdmin 2.6.2pl1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I love it and have used it for years...and still do occasionally. If you have a small/NO budget it ia a very awesome application. HOWEVER, if you are interested in a polished (not to say phpMyAdmin is not) alternative, check out NaviCat. It has a pricetag and yes phpMyAdmin does most of the same things but there are a few more features to Navicat and I am simply mentioning an alternative for those with a budget. They are both great programs! [alert admin]

Delicious Library 1.0.6 (Mac OS X)
Scan in a Harry Potter DVD and turn your sound up. Guess the developer is a fan :-) [alert admin]

That's Not a Picture 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Completely useless in the real world, but MAD Kudos to the developer for figuring out, using a small application, how to do this. It is a VERY interesting excercise. I hope other reviewers are kind in their reviews. THis is freeware and I think it should be looked at as an excercise in HTML generation and not much more. To developer, GREAT job. Output is quite nice for what it is doing. I was surprised at the image quality. [alert admin]

It's not nice to rate your own software ![]()

The software does what it says, but is WAY overpriced - IMHO. I do take exception to companies rating their own software. I find it hard to believe that mickazoid registered for Versiontracker because he/she was so enamored with the software that they just had to post something - they registered the day they posted -and have not rated another piece of software since. Anyway, if you have the cash and need to do repetitive testing, this IS a great piece of software. Just a shame that it is not within reach for a small business. [alert admin]

Uninstaller 1.9.6 (Mac OS X)
I think telling people to go check out FileBuddy before spending money on this program is kinda silly. If this program does what it says, which it does, then why would I want to spend twice this amount for this functionality? Yea FB does other things but if I want this functionality do I really want to pay double for it so I can get other features? Maybe not. I have no problem with people mentioning alternatives, but to tell people not to spend money on a good product so they can spend twice the amount on another just seems silly. I am not affiliated with this product or company, I just had to throw in my 2ยข. Nice product, appears to do what it says. [alert admin]

I believe the updates roll out in order of how much market there is... the US is still their biggest market so the update hits there first and from there they roll out the other updates... simple marketing also it's not the American language it the english language... be it whatever dialect version you speak it is still english not american. weather you like it or not english is spoken in many places so this is…

top price of about $8.00 would be nice so many developers hurt themselves by pricing too high... selling more products at a lower price will make a better profit than selling a few at a higher price. just strategic marketing sense for any product not just software. Unsanity has the right price structure look at those download #s in the 100s of thousands and that's only VT not counting downloads from other places. if only half…

the firewall built in is perfectly fine for the mass users. most people don't host anything at all from a home machine and the simple hosting they do or might do with the built in tools most normal mass users would use the built in firwall is perfectly fine. Unlike Windows (swiss cheese protection) with it's multiple holes and open doors the Apple OS comes standard without any servers running and no holes to get…

I subscribed to VersionTracker because of all the hard work they did before there was a pay option. As I subscriber I find the site much more useful, not to mention ad free. I don't know if youhave a .Mac account or not (probably not since you are not willing to pay for VT) but if you do .Mac offers a free VT subscription. The site is completely different for subscribers and the features VT…

from what I have seen when a crash occurs with an ape haxie it's because the app that is crashing is doing somthing it shouldn't be. not actually the ape haxie. I have seen this over and over if you know how to read the crash log it is actually the app crashing the haxie just makes the bad behavior noticable. send a bug report to the developer of the app and to unsanity as well... unsanity…

are you using a root user account? the only account I could not apply a theme to was the root user... in 99.9% of the cases you won't be using root and shouldn't be if you are. I have applied themes to 5 different accounts it works exactly as it should.

You totaly miss the point... duality still has to swap out your old theme files this means duality replaces your actual resources possibly causing much havoc on your system! PLUS! because of how duality does it all users are forced to use the same theme! Shapeshifter overlays your resources much in the way kaliedoscope did your OS is not tampered with! plus since it's on the fly each user can have a different theme!
