ReadingGuide 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

A very useful reading aid  

Have been using ReadingGuide for nearly one month without any problems on a MacBook C2D with 3GB RAM. Not a hint of a problem. I really like the ability to widen or narrow the "focus line" and the opaqueness. ReadingGuide is just what I needed to focus my mind for speedier reading. Give it a try. It would be useful to have a Help facility or some instruction to figure out quicker how to use ReadingGuide. But this is a fairly simple app with limited functionality soon mastered intuitively. I would be delighted if the author would find time to include automatic, variable timed, scrolling. [alert admin]

HSTracker 1.006 (Mac OS X)

Mac hard and software asset management made easy  

This is just what I was looking for. HSTracker appears to have been made for those of us that manage IT networks assets by someone who knows from experience what is needed. If you have ever made, updated and maintained an IT asset list as a reference tool then you will probably know just what a pain and waste of time this can be. HSTracker has actually saved me lots of time with sensible features to get the job done. It does exactly what it say’s on the tin. Love it - well done. [alert admin]

Check Activity Monitor for CPU use  

Appears to work fine on my MacBook Core 2 Duo 2Ghz OSX 10.5.6 3GB RAM. CPU's are twitching between 11-40% with 8 apps running. Work fine for me. This is great - just what I was looking for :-)
