Battle For Wesnoth 1.3.8 (Mac OS X)
Disk Image (version 1.3.8) won't mount, no matter what server I download it from. Anyone else experiencing this? --Swordman [alert admin]

Still no .flv download, despite it's claim otherwise. Everything else still works great though. [alert admin]

There are some things to like in the 3.0 beta, but having to reload pages many times before they'll draw is not one of them. I ran the uninstaller, and am back to good ol' reliable 2.04. I'm sure the many bugs 3 has will be fixed when the Leopard roars, and I'll wait until then to try it again. --Swordman [alert admin]

Sonnet Encore 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I keep getting a "Fatal Error, cannot read Rom", on my blue and white--upgraded with a sonnet G4 1GHz. Huh. Any ideas? Anyone else finding a similar problem? --Swordman [alert admin]

Logitech Control Center 2.0.0 (Mac OS X)
Just a fair warning--I upgraded to version 2.1 this morning, but it rendered my mouse slow-as-molasses! I checked the Apple and logitech preferences, and all was correct, but my mouse kept dragging. I re-installed 2.0, and all is right with the world again. My mouse couldn't be zippier. I've always been happy with Logitech's drivers, but be careful on version 2.1. Keep version 2.0 on standby in case you run into similar problems. Of course I like a fast mouse, maybe most won't know (or notice) a differrence. --Swordman [alert admin]

Codec Calculator 1.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
little app! Simple, straightforward, no learning curve. I could have used this about a month ago while tranfering old home movies to CD. I would definitely recommend this over the ol' "trial and error" method. Nice Ivan, nice! [alert admin]

Sonnet Tempo Ultra ATA66 3.12 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
that\\\'s why my rating is what it is. It still doesn\\\'t solve my lock-up every time I open the Startup Disk control panel in 9.04, 9.1 and OS X Public Beta (which I still haven\\\'t got to see). I can\\\'t figure what else is causing the problem on my Blue and White 400? Oh well, this will update your firmware--whatever that\\\'s worth to ya! [alert admin]

I have a dual 1.42 (MDD), no troubles. Try re-running the most recent combo updater, then this update, see if that does it for ya.

Hey Craig, Swordman here-- I tried your tip, and it works--at least in 2.0. I'll try re-installing 2.1 now and see. Thanks for the great tip. I agree, why would they hide such a great tip? The one strange thing though--it already was on 1x in version 2.0. I suppose I'll have to up it in 2.1 then, as it did slow my mouse to a crawl last time. Again, GREAT TIP!
