QuickTime Player X & iTunes Preference Pane 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Couldn't you add Flaot window on top?
With all the other changes you make, i would have thought you would have added this one. Why it is not native is beyond me, but at least add this to every other thing you have. THEN I'll get it. Without float on top, what use is the rest? [alert admin]

iClipboard 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Why do we bother. Get Cuteclips. Not a great icon, but the rest is brilliant. And only 5 Euro. Updates free for life. I have been liaising with the developer for ages, and she even listens to what I say. Very cool. [alert admin]

Mouse Locator 1.1 (Mac OS X)
... is that cursors centre to the centre of the arrow, not the tip, like most others do. But its simple, sure, great for that. I just have to align the centre of my custom images to the centre, which does take time. I wonder why it is aligned this way, when all others do not. Can this be changed? Or have the option for where the image aligns to? [alert admin]

CuteClips 3.0 beta21 (Mac OS X)
I bought CuteClips ages ago. Still tried other competitors to be sure I had the best. I do. Brilliant app, especially since there are more clipboards in the classic mode. I am not much interested in the other mode as it is not as aesthetic, but I have had no problems with CuteClips in this mode. Brilliant application. No other is more simple to operate. For people with big screens and big workkloads (like me), 36-48 fields would be exceptional. :) Thanks Karsten. Really cool. [alert admin]

Bento 1.0v2 (Mac OS X)
I was really hoping that I could use this for almost everything to plan, but have given up trying. Too much data lost (doesn't back up automatically like iCal and Address Book; I have to click on another category to remember), no consistency with the layout to the simple mac window, Could not get customise themes (virtually useless save the black one), and events too difficult to read or differentiate. A real bummer. I hope it develops into a type of Entourage for Mac, without being so bloated, but keeping what we all use in one app (address, iCal, notes, simple project management) AND remember everything as you type just in case the computer trips up and freezes. Could be so much leaner, stronger. Bento 2? [alert admin]

QuarkXPress 8.0 (Mac OS X)
Hiya, You are absolutely right. I am a designer, and there are lots of things I really do not know about printing. I always talk to the printer I send a file to to be sure I have everything sorted, an send them a PDF. Most just tell me about bleeds and crops, and off I go. Whatever program you use, make sure you talk to your printer. Thanks for this little lesson. I'll still use InDesign just out of practice, but it always helps to have a printer that will educate me about how to really set up a file. Maybe you could write something on your site. I know it might be a freebie, but I'd read it. There are so many things I do not know about how to set up a file Indesign for print. I have the basics, but not the little things. I don't know whey they are there, or if thye make a difference. I knew the tint bit. People should send you PDFs or EPSs. WHy are they sending you open files? Too complicated. Too much work post-design to reset it at a printer. Sounds like you come across some dufuses. [alert admin]

Caffeine 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
To work while the lid is closed
Hi Guys. I like the simplicity, but is there any way that you can make this app work while the lid is closed, like InsomniaX? Yours achieves a simple effect, save that even when I want to sleep the screen manually, it wakes up again, but then, if I could use your app to keep things going while the lid is closed, it is handy to have the screen sleep to keep the temperature down. Anyway, something to think about in the future as an option for the future, if you like. [alert admin]

Well, I already have written a ticket: 5670-YFKB-3219, dated 12/08/2007 I wrote the issue in VT just to contact someone, but no one there seems to be reading the tickets. So please stop wasting my time with your red tape, especially if I am doing what you request. So, after sending you the console report, etc, last week, have you got any answers? I am almost tempted to buy this just to stop that infernal pay dialogue…

I think OmniWeb is a great product, but sometimes it still ahs problems with showing some sites. It also eats memory. There will be a new one soon, so I am looking forward to it. An editor that picks a browser that till can't manipulate tabs, can't save tab sets, and auto-save incase of crashes must be getting paid to say it. I lose these basic functions and need a third-party add-on to get them!? Not…

Totally easier to use than Xfactor, but always some glitch with connections, in particular Gnutella and Ares. Without these, there doesn't seem to be anything worth downloading. And SO SLOOOOOOOWW! Hoping for column sorting, and for it to work as fast as Cabos: my preferred choice until this gets updated. been almost a year. I know it is open source, but without these apps, we would be lost souls waiting for something to happen. Who are you…
