DoppleViewer Widget 1.7 (Mac OS X)

Diet!

The DoppleViewer download is now half the size. Turns out I had been doing only minimal compression to the PNG images used in the UI... [alert admin]

ScriptSaver 2.5 (Mac OS X)

Just kidding...

...I've been convinced to keep updating this screensaver. Sorry for the confusion! [alert admin]

Mix 0.2 (Mac OS X)

WOW..

Insanely cool. Sounds like something that Underworld would have a field day with in concert :-) More features would be awesome to have! Keep up the amazing work! [alert admin]

iSeek 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Almost there..

Great little app, but I'd register in a moment if one of the search selections was "go to address". It'd be very nice to be able to type in a web address (with autocomplete?) and go directly to it from the menubar. Otherwise, more great work from a great author! [alert admin]

KisMAC 0.02f (Mac OS X)

Pentium, use the…

KisMAC driver tool to stop the driver and reload the Airport kext, like everyone else. Stop clamoring for attention-- if you can't handle using alpha software, then this isn't the place for you to be. Did you bother to ensure that your Airport was turned *off* before you started the app? Sheesh..! [alert admin]

Symantec Norton Utilities 7.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Kernel panics on…

my dual G4/450 on OS X 10.2.2 as well.. panics if I a) Launch Disk Doctor, or b) If I click the disclosure triangle in Disk Editor X (in the Tech Support folder). So, it appears the problem occurs when trying to read the partition map..? [alert admin]

SpeedChimera 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Never been better!…

Gives access to *way* more Chimera features than any of the other apps out there, and has the best interface of them all. Keep up the fantastic work! [alert admin]

ScriptSaver 2.0 (Mac OS X)

SPI: oooo! That's…

a darned good idea-- right now I don't have a way of delaying the AppleScript launch. But, thanks for the idea-- I have a funny feeling ScriptSaver 2.1 will have that feature :-) I also received a kinder, gentler logout AppleScript, so I'll be including that as well. Are there any good general-use AppleScripts people have been using with ScriptSaver that they'd like me to include? [alert admin]

Only lists two screensavers

ScriptSaver only loads screensavers whose filenames end in ".saver". Other ones aren't subclasses of NSScreenSaverView, so I can't load them directly. How many .saver screensavers do you have installed?

Another day, another X-plane update -

It's called "release early, release often". Most people consider it a *good* thing.
