Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR 0.10 (Mac OS X)
Firefox is my favorite browser....
but I am still having scrolling issues. I'm not sure exactly how to replicate the problem, but it seems that the processor usage for Firefox slowly creeps up and up. Usually, I just restart the browser and all is fine, but with the new 1.0 PR release, nothing seems to work. I've reverted back to 0.9.3 until I can figure out what is going on. All of that being said, this brower is fast, fast, fast. I love it, and don't think I could ever switch back to any of the alternatives. [alert admin]

Quicksilver 1.0b29 (Mac OS X)
shocking, refreshing. I feel like I am finally in control of my computer. Without a doubt, the most useful program I use on a daily (hourly) basis. Thanks! I will gladly give you my money. [alert admin]

Mozilla Firefox 0.9.3 (Mac OS X)
Man, I love this browser! It's exceptionally fast when loading pages, and since that's what I need it to do the most, I usually enjoy using Firefox. However, even with 0.93, the Javascript implementation still has a few bugs in it. Most importantly though (to me) is the scrolling issue. I usually have about ten tabs open at a time, and when I scroll up or down a webpage, there is a two second delay in the response. That's not acceptable. I've only had a few rendering problems, but nothing to write home about. All in all, a great browser with a few small bugs in it. Four stars until everything is working as it should. [alert admin]

Control Freak 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I'm very impressed. Other programs offer similar functionality, but this one stands out. Keep up the good work! [alert admin]

DenyIP 1.1 (Mac OS X)
It's all right there in the Read Me. D'oh! It's actually Apple-Option-K though, not Alt. Again, very slick. Well done! [alert admin]

DenyIP 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Once I launched the app and switched to another application, I couldn't switch back to DenyIP. I went into the Terminal, killed the process labeled "DenyIP", and tried to relaunch. The screen came up for about half a second and disappeared. Made a trip back to the Terminal.... You get the idea. Over and over. Cool idea, but I didn't get very long to play with it. The interface is very slick! [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.3.2 (Mac OS X)
here on a PowerBook 800MHz and a Dual 1Ghz Quicksilver. No problems whatsoever. As for being scared to update a machine; you *should* be if you are using your machine for mission critical work. It is laughable to say that anyone should be more afraid of one OS's update than another. When you are messing with the foundation of your computing experience, THINGS CAN GO WRONG! No software is perfect, and anyone who tells you differently probably has a bridge to sell you. [alert admin]

Comictastic 2.1b5 (Mac OS X)
however, I am having a problem with downloading archives. I can download them just fine, but all of the strips are the same for every month. For instance, the strips in September are the same in August, and the the same in July. They are definitely September strips though. Otherwise a really cool program! [alert admin]

you like playing games on Yahoo in Safari! Everything worked fine before the update. Thanks for screwing up my system Apple! If I want to play games on Yahoo, I guess I'll just use Windows, which even with it's "broken" implementation of Java seems to somehow work. Negative stars. Fix this now! [alert admin]
