SafarIcon 2.7 (Mac OS X)

Hope to see a new version soon

I've used Safaricon for quite some time now, and since this new version of Safari came out (which I don't think I'd be alone in saying I'm so sorry I updated to it) I'm left with no use of Safaricon. I can only hope Mr Penner is hard at work on a new version. Some new themes would be great too. I kinda got used to some of the old themes that don't work as well as the newer ones, so it would be wonderful to see some of the original themes updated as well. Thanks! [alert admin]

UNO 1.2 (Mac OS X)

simply a MUST HAVE

my only "issue" with UNO is that I wish I had found it sooner! I'm not real fond of the brushed metal theme in OS X. I thought about going with ShapeShifter, but there were issues with the themes that I really liked. I stumbled upon UNO, and I must say that this FREE-ware will run on my new G5 iMac for as long as the brushed metal theme is part of the Apple OS. It was VERY easy to install, and now every window on my Mac looks sleek, neat, and exactly how it should look...in my opinion. major kudos to the developer for a GREAT freeware application! jBidWatcher 0.9.5 (Mac OS X)

always worked for me

I've been using this handy little app for quite some time now, and have never had a problem. I had enough faith in it to set it for an auction I ended up winning...a rare guitar that cost me close to 3 grand. I had it set to bid in the last 3 seconds, and it did just that. I hate to "snipe" but if you really want an item other people really want, you don't have much choice because everyone else seems to be using some type of sniping software. hopefully this update will address any issues of which I have had none but I haven't had to use it in a couple of weeks. Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

if it only had a built in spell check

I use Safari about 95% of the time, but I use Firefox when I'm on eBay cause it's faster than Safari. I REALLY like Firefox, and I'd probably use it all the time if it only had a built in spell check. I'd have to say that I'm not too fond of the interface appearance, but it's a small blip on an awesome browser. [alert admin]

just marvelous

So I launch Transmission, and it says I need to update it. OK fine, run the update and now it tells me I can't use it with my current OS. maybe it would be better to have the installer check first before updating to something I can't use?

Oh my word, this is painful.

I purchased Dymo file folder labels #30576. Dymo does not provided a label 14mm x 87 mm, so I figured I create one. Apparently I can't. At least I can see no way to. There is no edit label size anywhere that I can see. I thought I'd download the premade label from it from Dymo's site OR ANYWHERE on the net. There are none availalble. Can anyone help a dieing madman out here? How can…

The dialogue box that won't go away

Hey, Laquidara...to get rid of the update reminder, do a "find" search (from the hard drive menu bar) for "PTHVolume", move whatever files you find to the trash. If you still want the updated version, just download it, and install it. You should be all set.

Not a spam-tool....

All well & good, but unfortunately not everyone who download, and use this program are people sending emails to consensual clients. I'm not dissing the program, how it was written, or how it works. I AM VERY concerned with what it does. If it could be written in such a way that it would be impossible, or even extremely hard for spammers, and un-consensual "bulk" email, then fine. Actually I guess I'm a little hot…

PULEEEEZE

THIS CRAP SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. I just had to delete 2 email addresses because of programs like this. Email addresses are like phone numbers. It is PERSONAL data, and should NOT be up for anyone to use as they like without the owners permission. I can only hope to God that the laws change to make this totally illegal. It is nothing more than an invasion of privacy, just like telemarketing. I truly HATE people…
