Windows Media Player 9.0 (Mac OS X)
Has anyone figured out how to the the plugin to buffer better? Even on short movies in Firefox or Omniweb, it'll start/stop/start/stop and you can't even tell how much it thinks it has buffered. You can stop and wait until it is done, as stop stops the whole darned process. Damn MS, why do you have to continually SUCK? [alert admin]

Eudora 6.2b5 (Mac OS X)
So I downloaded 6.2 and tried the OS X Address Book integration. Sigh! How lame. They pull the first and only the first email address from any one card. And then put them in a lame Eudora nick, like first_last. This is so 1994. Back to Mail! Too bad, I like the speed of Eudora mailboxes, too. I guess with Tiger's smart folders, the final nail will be driven? [alert admin]

Eudora 6.2b4 (Mac OS X)
Fred, I totally agree, but the Eudora developers don't give a damn, which is why I have not used Eudora for 3 years. I've been asking for Address book integration since Jaguar betas and no response, nothing from the team. They believe they have it done right and that is that. With attitudes as such, I can't support them. Too bad, it is a great client. [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2004-09-07 (Mac OS X)
On my G5 Safari is fine. On my laptop, bestbuy and compusa render improperly. The menus created by the javascript on compusa lay out as a list of text above the rest of the page. [alert admin]

LiSA 3.02 (Mac OS X)
At first, it gave me nothing but errors trying to log into my email server. So I quit Lisa and relaucnched. Now no errors, but it just doesn't do anything. Java, blech. [alert admin]

OmniWeb 5.0rc2 (Mac OS X)
It has flaws and I did not like OW until 5.0 but now I cannot live without it. So many features that are actually useful. What a concept. [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.0.beta1 (Mac OS X)
LaunchBar is still my favorite utility and the first OS X native application I purchased. 4.0 adds many, many very nice features and improvements! [alert admin]

MT-NewsWatcher X 3.4 (Mac OS X)
Nice way to fill in the whole Thoth is leaving us. So far it seems to work nicely and have the features I like in a newsreader. The preferences are also understandable. [alert admin]
