PureMusic Audio Player 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I believe I have discovered a problem (with the help of Gary Elshaw) with some of the unix executables used for tasks that play mp3, streaming and some other formats as separate tasks. While I carefully neutered the dangerous zerolink "feature" of xCode (runs on your machine but not for anyone else!) for my main project, I had failed to do so with the subtasks. That has been corrected so PMap should play all formats for people besides just the developer. Again, my apology for such an XCode beginner mistake. The corrected version is at the download site. The tracker for the torrent file has not been responding today so I might be looking for a new tracker and creating a new torrent for torrent enabled downloaders. [alert admin]

The tracker used for bittorrent access to the file was not working well last night. It has been changed resulting in a new torrent file. It seems to be working today if you want to get the product using bittorrent. The torrent file on the web site has been updated. Thanks. [alert admin]

Getting the user interface right is tricky for the cube. I'm sure I've made some mistakes or made choices others might find dopey. I will gladly listen to any suggestions. One suggestion I got led to the addition of 'friction' so the cube would slow down automatically for people who find the friction free cube annoying. I will certainly look for suggestions here but there is also a forum set up specifically for that purpose…
