Separate versions for G3 and G4
Dalatindragon, there are two separate versions of StarfishX, one for G3 machines, and one for G4 machines. Please visit the StarfishX website to download the G3 version: http://homepage.mac.com/mscott/starfishx/starfishx.html. Also, there is no version 2.0.1 of StarfishX. Mars Saxman release a 2.0.1 version of the Mac OS 9 program, but the OS X version (i.e., StarfishX) is still at version 2.0. [alert admin]

Panther 7A179 has a bug in the vector library which causes StarfishX to crash when you try to generate a pattern using Altivec. Apple is aware of this bug and no doubt will fix it prior to shipping Panther, as it potentially affects other Altivec programs. I should have mentioned this in the release notes. StarfishX 1.4b2 (Mac OS X)
you're not really using 1.2b1. That version had a *HUGE* memory leak in it. I released 1.2b2 within hours of 1.2b1. If you really have 1.2b1, send me an email and I'll send you 1.2b2. [alert admin]

I found and fixed the bug with incorrect full-screen pattern sizes. Give version 1.4b1 a try and see if that works better for you. [alert admin]
