Apple Aperture 2.0 (Mac OS X)
No bug here. No : you have to relocate or rename your current versiob of Aperture prio to launch the update. It's stated in the download window on the Apple website. Mr. Jobs is not Micro$ofted. [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2004 11.3.7 (Mac OS X)
As every version of Office since 2000, crashes without apparent reason, losing pages of work each time. I've spent HOURS with Micro$oft support which claimed this problem did'nt exist. I've known DOZENS of users knowing the same crash problem. Some day, finally, Micro$oft will cease to create polluted apps. Some day… Meanwhile, I'll work with Pages instead… Bye, bye, Mr. Gate$ [alert admin]

Camino 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Camino worked well until now (used it for 3 years) 1.5.1 is a mess : - cease to load pages properly - cease to display pagesp properly - progress bar zaps and freezes - new window won't open Only solution : quit and restart. Hopefully it preserves pages previously opened Troubleshooting on Camino forum didn't help either : solutions proposed weren't efficient. Back to 1.5 waiting for developers to… develop… For now, they don't acknowledge the problem : surprised ? [alert admin]

Version 1.2 available in France quits repeatedly. As usual, support tells me : "Must come from your Mac". Ridiculous, as previous version (1.1) did not quit. Hail to Robert & Collins ! [alert admin]

Apple keyboard update 1.1 (Mac OS X)
… the rating is 5 stars when I rated it 1 star for bad functions of Fkeys and awful support ? 45 MINUTES waiting for some incompetent repeating 6 times to me : Download the update — when I had told them 7 times it was already done from the start… [alert admin]

Apple keyboard update 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Same for me : F3 (Expose) and F4 (Dashboard) don't work. Called Apple twice (in France). 1. A first stupid told me : wait for the update. Told her I already had downloaded and installed it. Stupid added : There is a new update coming up on Monday 13 august (I called Friday 10). Told her I did not believe Apple would launch Updates every two days… 2. Called again today. A second stupid asked me the same about Update 1.1, then consulted his top technicians keeping me waiting for TWENTY-SIX MINUTES before asking me THREE times if I had downloaded Update 1.1, and again to wait for the new update. As I was pretty upset with so much stupidity, he told me to call back tomorrow. 3. Usually, Apple support is way above other supports which famously suck like HP (Mamma mia, the worst of all) or Micro$oft. I wish Apple would NOT follow suit… [alert admin]

Quite surprised because for me Safari is WAY slower than Camino or Firefox. On every site I tried (and I work on the Net 10 hours a day).

We (my wife and I) tried e2sync, Pocket Mac and Missing Sync. Missing Sync is the only one that works and their support is efficient in several languages. e2sync are rude people. Pocket Mac NEVER worked.

Those comments about their competitors and "the enemy" are utterly ludicrous. I bought this software, it did not work, made me lose a lot of time. I asked refund to Kagi (e2sync themselves refused to talk about it) and Kadi refunded fully. Baseline : 1/ e2sync are dishonest and paranoïd (it goes often together) 2/ Kagi has been quite respectful of the customer 3. e2sync knows perfectly well I I was a true customer and not a mole from the "enemy". Here…

Please find enclosed thes mails from e2sync support. Properly outrageous. If it is not working, ring Apple. It's NOT our issue. Why do you not understand this? The problem is your connection to iSync, not e2Sync. Despite the similarity in the names, your connection issues are nothing to do with us. Get your T5 talking to iSync, and it'll work with e2Sync. Strange post, when you read all other posts about this product. Sincerely, I doubt of its genuineness. e2Sync support NEVER replies. e2Sync does not sync Palm neither my 3 cell phones. STAY AWAY… MISSING SYNC WORKS PERFECTLY AND THEIR SUPPORT REPLIES WITHIN AN HOUR.
