LoadMyTracks 006 (Mac OS X)

Boots fine, but...

...after making sure my Garmin 60CS was hooked up to my 1Ghz PB (10.4.5) and hitting acquire, it *looked* like it was going to work. The status bar started a-whirlin', and the status text said "Ready". That was it. I waited for status to change for 3 minutes, then decided to cancel. The "Cancel" button had no effect. Ended up having to force quit. Checked the resulting text file only to find...nothing. Empty. Shame. [alert admin]

Linksys BEFW11S4 v4 1.52.03 (Mac OS X)

No lovin' from this version.

Installed (after doing the filename switcheroo), reset router to default, and it locked up all of my "b" Airport laptops (3). Downgraded to previous version 1.50.14 and all was well. I hate when version details aren't included, but it was my fault for blindly upgrading. The previous version works great. Downloader Beware. -M [alert admin]

Boinx iStopMotion 1.8b10 (Mac OS X)

Great Fun!

I use this with my iSight. My kids and I use it quite a bit, and they actually control the snapping of the picture. They really enjoy the results with their Lego models and dolls and such. Great support, good documentation and feature set. No regrets, except that I don't get to use it as much as I like. [alert admin]

Will Not Upgrade

After download, change name from "befw111s4_v4_v1.52.02.bin" to "code.bin" and try doing the firmware upgrade using either MacTFTP or the firmware upgrade in the web interface. It worked for me, although I don't know exactly what the upgrade does. I'm living life dangerously I guess. ;) -M
