how about adding HID support, turning anything that talks with HID protocol into a midi controller. I know there's other apps that do this, but they're all shareware. [alert admin]

I found that this app, over the period of a few weeks, began to seriously slow down the entire system. Yes, its pretty, but slowing down my palm is not a beneficial side effect. [alert admin]

I haven't used any visualizers for a good little while.. but, after installing and trying v.0.41 in iTunes 4.8 in 10.4.1, trying to turn smoothing on causes iTunes to crash instantly. nice vis, though. Right there next to G-Force! [alert admin]

DockSwitch 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I've been using this app for a little while now. As of 10.4, I have begun loosing my dock arrangements. When I switch docks, the one I'm switching to suddenly gains the configuration of the one I'm switching from. The old (expected) configuration of the dock I'm wanting is gone. I'm guessing there's an update on the way? [alert admin]

Amnesty Widget Browser 0.70b (Mac OS X)
while your update notes haven't mentioned this, perhaps it was fixed, but I cannot test the latest version for this at the moment. When using two monitors, and having the widget on the second screen, any time it updates, it looses its placement, and progressively moves lower and lower on the screen. Moving it back does not seem to help. [alert admin]

using v.77 through .80 I was wondering if bluetooth connections are actually supported or not? it seems to connect to the computer, and try to signing on, waits for a good while, and then presents me with timeout error: 0x1212 I have it set to talk as a UNIX network service (tis Mac OS X) [alert admin]

this version seems to have trouble with preferences, for me. I can't get it to get rid of the outlines, and the speed doesn't seem to change. I've tried deleting the old prefs, and having it re-create them, but that didn't fix it. [alert admin]

hey, this is great for a 0.1 rendition! it works Now, if there was a way to turn it back off, or change the screen saver. Definitely an implimentation into a preference pane... as well as a menu bar extra, so you could switch it ona nd off, and choose savers at will. That would definitely be a new feature for these kinds of apps. keep it goin'! [alert admin]

yes, make it a VST and/or AU plugin to run inside one of our audio recording apps, and it'll be VERY useful.... although, there is a little plug I already use called Inspector, which basically does this for me, although your app goes much further. the FFT harmonics analyzer could definitely have its uses!

Gaslight goes out with Tiger and iTunes 4.8?
it crashes on me when I try to turn smoothing on. Chances are you might have smoothing on already, so it just crashes, period. removing the preferences for the plug will probably allow you to get Gaslight going.
