it by opening the Preferrences in Tape and simply clicking Save, which wrote a Preferrences file to the hard drive and removed the startup error. Tape should write out a generic prefs file on launch if it doesn't find one rather than displaying an error message. [alert admin]

Tape 1.7.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

that error if you try to re-launch XDarwin after it failed for the first time since you booted up. I encounter the same problem when trying to launch XDarwin multiple times. My current issue is (from what I gather from Console's output) that the X server cannot properly map out the keys to my keyboard (that's what I get for using something from Microsoft), so the X server loads, but only to a point. Further launches result in your error. Try restarting and launch XDarwin and see what the inital, true error is. [alert admin]

Baldur's Gate Multiplayer Update 1.0 (Mac OS 9)
that it has been released, but it is very buggy, not optimized, and easily exploitable. I can only hope updates are released in the future to address the long list of problems with the multiplayer aspect of the game. [alert admin]
