Bookdog 5.1.8 (Mac OS X)
Really nice app. Syncs my three browser bookmarks flawlessly and the developer is extremely quick to respond to problems. I had a major glitch with BD unable to read my bookmarks in Firefox 3 beta (Minefield) and the developer spent several days working to find and correct the problem–which, it seems, was unique to me. Any software developer with this kind of response to user problems is NUMBER ONE in my book! [alert admin]

FileMaker Pro 9.0v2 (Mac OS X)
FM keeps making minor changes to its product and charges outrageous prices for them. My last upgrade was to 8.0. Over the years, I have spent enough on FM and upgrades to buy a new Mac! The problem is that there are no real alternatives to FM, so they can charge these incredibly horrible prices! My opinion? Learn to live with out FM! [alert admin]

Contactizer Pro 3.5 (Mac OS X)
I've tried this app again as I really want it to work for me. Flashy GUI. Very nice potential. One big problem (other than the ability to synch to all iCal calendars): Editing contacts from within CP I have lost the data on several contacts. Not good. Developer says its the fault of AddressBook. Sorry. If they know that then they should not include capabilities that cause conflict with Apple's apps. Had to throw it away. Contactizer still wants to synch with iCal, though. Funny. I trashed everything in synch services that related to CP! [alert admin]

NetNewsWire 3.1b9 (Mac OS X)
This is the only program you need for RSS feeds. Elegant, customizable interface. Why go for any other? (And no, I have not been paid to make this endorsement!) [alert admin]

Netscape X 9.0b2 (Mac OS X)
Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but I use the Services menu quite a bit. This new release has great potential and I really like some of the new additions, but no Services? Fahgedabboudit.... [alert admin]

CleanApp 2.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Crashes a lot when trying to delete files. Too bad I spent the money on this. The developer has been responsive, but I do not have the time to troubleshoot this for him. I’m going back to AppZapper which actually works. [alert admin]

OfficeTime 1.03 (Mac OS X)
Very nice app. Simple to use, yet elegant. I’d been an iBiz user off and on for a while but kept encountering too many serious bugs and not enough timely support from the developer. OfficeTime does everything iBiz does but without the bugginess. I especially appreciate the smooth integration with iCal and the ability to see time worked in graphic form. The developer is responsive to suggestions, as well. [alert admin]

iBiz 3.0b10 (Mac OS X)
Bugs: 1) duplicates events unexpectedly 2) duplicates events in iCal 3) duplicate iCal calendars in iBiz 4) problematic manual time entry These are the obvious ones, but there are many, many more. Support seems to be down for the past five days... no response. My advice? Don't buy this, try OfficeTime instead, it does all that iBiz does without the bugs! [alert admin]

NotePad 1.5 (Mac OS X)
I absolutely REFUSE to buy something from a developer when I have to log in to a web site just in order to purchase the product. There are way too many people who know my information as it is and I do not want to establish a log in just to buy something. Seems a great way to keep from getting customers, if you ask me!
