MenuMachine 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
The best GoLive add-on. Period. ![]()

If a client has ever asked for drop-down menus on their website, unless you've used Big Bang's MenuMachine the request normally illicits a groan. Long the bane of web developers everywhere (as clunky both in look, feel and programming), drop down menus requests became welcome with this excellent GoLive add on we've been using in my company for the past 4 years. Version 2 offers an amazing number of features and configuration options, and above average stability (GoLive not being known for it's robustness!) and allows us to add a high level of managed complexity to our drop down menus that enhance user experience and ease of use. If there's any compliant I have about this software it's that the shear number of configuration options can be a little daunting at first, but once you take some time to play around and read the excellent online manual the program's results speak for themselves. An exceptional Mac GoLive add-on. Highly recommended to those of us still passionate Dreamweaver holdouts. [alert admin]

4W WebMerge X 2.2 (Mac OS X)
Used this program for a number of CD ROM projects where databases wouldn't work but laboriously creating HTML wasn't in the budget. Works as advertised and when I had suggestions and comments received prompt support responses. Also the author keeps improving the program. Use this once and you more than recoup it's cost.. overall great! [alert admin]

got the "serial not valid" message. It mentioned only typing upper case into the field. Also, the FCP splash screen omits the last three digits, it's necessary to look at your serial number located on the inside cover of the manual to confirm... once I followed the instructions it all downloaded and installed fine. Guess you just have to RTFM! :-) Program & update works great for me... [alert admin]

Same issues - still hoping for a development 'miracle' The networking and user management is a major issue with the 'this serial in use' message even though I have 5 licenses for 4 users plus server... Developer is responsive, but busy... Use this if you're working by yourself, in a networked environment, it still needs work
