Blackjack Gold 1.3.0 (Mac OS X)
For those of you who couldn't play it because you had Leopard, try it now. Version 1.3.0 should work for you. This version fixes the "not supported on this architecture" issue, the crossed circle, and yes, RazzleDazzle, it will work on your Intel :-) [alert admin]

StuffIt Expander 10.1.0b1 (Mac OS X)
I was able to download and use it on a Macintel without providing an email addy. Worked fine on a .smi.hqx file I had downloaded a few minutes earlier. As the beta version expires, unknown whether the final version will be as sweet. [alert admin]

Amadeus II 3.8.3 (Mac OS X)
I tried a competitor who had a 5 star rating. Their program was awful. It didn't let me do anything I wanted. Then I tried Amadeus and am delighted. It does exactly what I need it to do, the interface is so easy I had no trouble figuring it out. I've been needing OSX software to make voice recordings for a long time, and I've finally found it. Let's you edit out portions of the recording. Has some built in effects. Lot's of file types supported, too. Nice job! [alert admin]

Just got my new Macintel and am installing all the goodies I need. In looking for the newest version of Acrobat I found all the comments and reviews, and definitely did not want Acrobat opening within Safari. So I followed the tips on ensuring that Safari simply downloads PDF's, and then I can double-click to launch with Adobe, and everything works exactly as expected :-) Thanks to all of you who posted…
