Musicast 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

No Support

Have been trying to use it on my Mac Pro since they first came out and I got mine in the mail. Musicast gives me an irrelevant address to link to my hosted Muaicast site, one that I can't even visit myself as it's not a proper link. I purchased this app after using it on my G5 and it worked very well. Have tried to contact the company that produces the application more than once without reply, so I cannot recommend purchasing. Acquisition 132.7 (Mac OS X)

Bumped My License

I bought Acquisition at a very early stage in it's development and have been using it since then. Recently i upgraded to 132.7 and, as others may have noted I am getting hardly anything, or nothing at all, in my search pane. I tried removing my application support files and preference list to see if a file had been corrupted somehow and now the application refuses to take my registered e-mail address. It seems Mr. Watanabe has also added a "Lifetime Upgrades" option and redirected the downloads button to the purchase page, in a loop. Rather tasteless if you ask me! I still recommend Acquisiton because it is a great app when it's working and when the developer isn't pulling the rug out from under you. [alert admin]

Interesting

After trying this out it seems as though it is coming along quite nicely. The engine needs reworking and I couldn't understand what i was doing, but it reminded me of the old System Shock games sans the plot. Anyway, it's worth a look as this could become a lot of fun to play in the future. Nice beta release. [alert admin]

PSPWare 2.0.13 (Mac OS X)

Perfection

I just downloaded this utility-application to help me with my PSP stuff today, I can in all honesty say that this is perfect. Stop looking at the other applications right now and at the very least, give this one a try. 5 stars for sure it really works simply and elegantly, what better to complement your PSP right? Anyway, I tried almost all of the functions and I'm totally impressed with the video encoding and compression, it makes the files small and it adds them to your PSP without you even having to breathe, it really is nice to see some real thought put into this application. I bought this tool immediately after syncing and using the video, audio and image functions for a little while, it's worth $15 easy! Support the developer and I'm sure we will see more functions in the future. (pdf maybe?) [alert admin]

Acquisition 118.3 (Mac OS X)

Revert to 117.2

This version is buggy, when you search, download from that search and try to delete the search you are currently downloading things from, it crashes every single time. Use version 117.2 until Dave fixes the problem. Still a great app, that is a very irritating crash though... Here is 117.2: http://homepage.mac.com/porfiry99/Acquisition117.2.dmg [alert admin]

Comictastic 2.2 (Mac OS X)

Odd in 10.4.1

In 10.4.1 I am having a graphical issue with the dates. Some are covered so I can't see them even if I can click on them to view the comic. [alert admin]

Widget Manager 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)

Good Job to this developer.

I can't believe there isn't a prefpane of some sort for managing Widgets other than this freeware....What an oversight [alert admin]

CoolBackground 2.5 (Mac OS X)

What is this for now?

Why even bother using this when it has already been done to the nines right here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16015 That probably doesn't work with Tiger BUT lets think, how many people are currently using Tiger and how many are still with good ol stable Panther? Missing Audio Burn from iTunes

Try Jhymn: http://www.hymn-project.org/ It works as it says it does, it is straight with no tricky business. Read up a bit before choosing what options you want for the most favorable results.

To be perfect...

You can customize it to look exactly lik iChat in the preferences. It can be bound in a window and have the same status "gems". Adium is fully customizable in how it looks, therefore you can make it match any theme (shapeshifter is a main staple of mine) or just match aqua.
