NewTek LightWave 3D X 8.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I had no problem installing the update. Lightwave is the best program that I have used. It has more features than anyone could possibly learn. I find it to be great fun to use, and it has been rarely frustrating for me. I've had nothing but positive experiences dealing with the company. I'm running it both on my Mac G4 and on a PC laptop. RenderFarm Commander 2.2.6 (Mac OS X)
RenderFarm Commander is a very good program. I had no idea how to rig up a screamer net combining several computers to render my Lightwave animations. There were a few frustrations getting my render farm set up with RFC, but the developer was extremely promt at returning my emails. I had it set up quickly and it worked like a charm. I especially like the fact that I can continue working on the Lightwave layout, while my computers are busily rendering. I would use it for my rendering even if I had only one computer. [alert admin]

Jurtle 1.4 (Mac OS X)
I've made it through the first three lessons. I have tried learning java before from a book. So far Jurtle has been better than the books I tried to follow. It's good being able to read about the concepts and work in the program at the same time. The developer was very prompt at clearing up problems I had. The writing is quite good. [alert admin]

I've have been very pleased with my Wacom tablet and the drivers. I use the 4d mouse that came with my tablet as my only mouse. I've never had any problems at all. I also griped about having to buy a new tablet when I moved to OSX. But I gave my old one to a very happy person who will be using it with an older mac. [alert admin]

SnapNDrag 1.3.0 (Mac OS X)
I just began using this program today. I was delighted. I'm more inclined to try out other software from people who make such good freeware. Thanks [alert admin]

I had difficulty installing this program. I wrote the developer and received an answer in 20 minutes in which he asked for more information about the problem. I wrote back and within a half a day he had fixed the problem. Very impressive. I then had problems getting this program to work with the Macam drivers. I discovered that I had failed to move the macam.component into the /library/quicktime folder. After I did that, ichat worked great with my beige ring QuickCam. Well Done! [alert admin]

System Optimizer X 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)
my system worked after using this software. I also liked the thoughtful way that the installation program worked. It gave me confidence in the company, which I hope will grow from one person to many people. [alert admin]

Corel Painter 8.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
time with the demo. I do like it much better than Painter 7. I still think the upgrade price is way too high, but I'll grudgingly buy it. [alert admin]
