VLC RAR-Loader 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Cannot prefill buffer  

Since upgrading from version 1.2, I haven't been able to get RAR-Loader to work. VLC responds with 'main: cannot pre fill buffer'. I have VLC version 0.8.6f. It's too bad 1.3 isn't working for me, because it loads so much more quickly. [alert admin]

Growl 0.6.1 (Mac OS X)

Excellent!  

For those applications which support growl, it works seamlessly. For those that don't, it still works perfectly after a couple of simple steps. I can't ask for more than this. I would like to see support added for customizing window colours according on the type of event. (Currently, I don't have Growl enabled for Adium because Adium uses red/green bezel notifications, whereas Growl currently only has grey.) Keep it up! :-) [alert admin]

2004 Tsunami Before & After 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Not tasteless  

I fail to see how this could be considered tasteless. The author isn't even trying to make money off of this. Rather, he's provided a link where donations can be made to a relief fund. This is an excellent way to keep in mind those who continue to suffer, as well as a humbling example of the awesome power of nature. [alert admin]
