Font Reserve 3.1.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
me again with the update... Font Reserve still sucks.
yeah.. so extensis buys Font Reserve from Diamondsoft.. but doesn't give us an update.. only updated packaging. woo hoo! How 'bout an update that works with Tiger? I'm missing ad deadlines because both Suitcase AND Font Reserve are bogus.... get off your A55 and get to work.. cause I'm ready and willing to just go Font Book and never look back. Extensis is also sitting on Suitcase too. Let's hope they take both apps and converge them into one good app, and give previous users of both a decent upgrade price... [alert admin]

Font Reserve 3.1.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Causes Adobe Illustrator CS to crash on saving
Man.. ever since I updated to 3.1.3, it causes my AI CS to crash on save... 50% of the time. Luckily, 95% of the time, it saves the file before it crashes.. but on a rare occasion, I HAVE lost all my work and gotten a corrupt file. Is extensis trying to force us to by Suitcase by buying Font Reserve and sabotaging it? Sheesh. Hit us up with the 3.1.4 fix, and let's do get it right this time. [alert admin]

XPostFacto 3.0a14 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
installed fine on a Beige G3, but...
... some reason, no SCSI devices will mount on the desktop. No zip, no CD-RW, no hard drives.. no nothing. The first time I attached the drives, it worked just fine for about 15 minutes.... imported some mp3s to the itunes library and 5 minutes later all the drives dissappeared. I can't even get them to mount in OS9 either. I'm not sure if it's some XpostFacto Voodoo or a bad scsi bus. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that, the computer works great. Can't wait to score some RAM and a firewire/USB card to turn it into an iPod station. oh yeah.. its running OSX 10.2.8 with no other problems. [alert admin]
