Multimap for Address Book 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Anguka, I've tried using the script with an Australian address, and it's still working OK for me. For a moment, I thought Multimap might have made a change that broke my script! I'm not sure what's going wrong for you. Please contact me by email (you'll find the address via the 'About Stephen Withers' link above), and tell me what browser you're using, and a street address that won't work for you. For privacy reasons, you might choose a 'fake' address such as that of a shop or post office. That's ok, as long as it is a genuine address. Please also attach the browse.cgi file that your browser is downloading. Stephen [alert admin]

WhereIs directions (for Entourage) 1.5 (Mac OS X)
As promised, a new version for Tiger compatibility. I'm told it works, although I can't test it under 10.4 myself. [alert admin]

WhereIs (for Entourage) 1.5 (Mac OS X)
As promised, a 10.4-compatible version of the script. I still don't have a Mac running 10.4, but I'm told version 1.5 does work under Tiger. [alert admin]

WhereIs directions (for Entourage) 1.4 (Mac OS X)
This version isn't Tiger compatible. I will be releasing a new version when time permits, but I make no promises about when that will be. (It's not that it will be especially difficult, just that I don't have access to a system running Tiger and Entourage. I've found a friend that will test my changes, but it'll be a slow process.) Multimap for Address Book 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Swift: What you want already exists - see, for example, http://farha.com/GMAP/ or http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050208234638329. There are probably others - try this Google search: http://www.google.com/search?rls=en&q=%22address+book%22+%22google+maps%22 [alert admin]

Re: Downloaded zip file won't unzip
Peter H: Apologies for the inconvenience. Something broke the links between the VersionTracker pages and some of my files. I don't know what caused it, only that I didn't change anything! I've updated the links so they should start working again soon. If you're in a hurry, you can download via homepage.mac.com/swithers [alert admin]

"why is such a good app stuck with a 3 star rating" Because (justified or not) it picked up a lot of 2-star ratings in versions 5 and 6. "and it's latest release still shows as "not rated"?" Because you were the first to comment on 8.0.1d1, and you didn't give it a rating.

Viviane, Thanks for confirming that it works properly with Tiger, and thanks for that rating. Stephen

>BTW, how about doing a Widget for AU Yellow Pages? I'm stuck on a Tiger-incompatible Mac for now, so I've not started working on widgets. But I'm pretty sure someone's already written an Aus Yellow Pages widget. I can't find the one I had in mind, but there's the Sensis widget <http://www.sensis.com.au/contact_us_toolbar_download.do#widget> that does Yellow Pages, White Pages and more.

Lee said: "BUT the map yielded was a total failure! I requested an address in Greenwich, the url indicated Greenwich, but the map produced was Oakhurst." This sounds like a criticism of WhereIs rather than of the plug-in. I've tried using both with a couple of addresses in Greenwich and they worked properly. Please email me with the address that's not working for you and I'll investigate. Please use the Copy Mailing Label command in Address…

Well spotted Sempei, and thanks for letting me know. I've made the fix, and will update VersionTracker as soon as the revised files have finished uploading to .Mac. (Syncing is very slow at present.)
