Battle For Wesnoth 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)

Won’t Install

While running the install package, it says something like: “cannot install on this computer, you must have at least OS X 10.4.4.” I am using OS X 10.4.11 Intel. So, for now, this program is broken. [alert admin]

iConiCal 1.7 (Mac OS X)

Changes Permissions

For me, the software seemed to work just fine...however it changes permissions for iCal each time it runs which MAY be harmless but I’d rather not see unnecessary permissions being repaired each time I run Permissions Repair. [alert admin]

EasySpeak 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Doesn't Launch

At least in Tiger, this program quits on launch; it bounces a few times in the dock and dies. [alert admin]

ImgCvrt 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)

Apparent bug

After converting (with the contextual menu plugin) an image, and then putting that image (the new image) into the trash, you cannot empty the trash until you reboot. Somehow the file seems to retain an unwanted association with Imgcvrt plugin. This makes the plugin of zero value. Also, I’d like to see the ability to strip profile and icon data from an image included when no file type change is needed. [alert admin]

Image Framer 2.0b2 (Mac OS X)

The image color is messed up

The last version worked great (1.6) but this version seems to modify the entire color cast of the image. All we want is a frame, why would it mess with the image? Or am I doing something stupid? [alert admin]

Does not work

Same here. Kind of disappointing. The software is very good normally, so their lack of checking on details (not the first time) is rather odd.

If you liked the original AOL, you will like this...

I can’t even GUESS what you use AOL for...that can’t be done with dozens of other applications better. What had set AOL apart in the “good old days” was community...this new client has no community...you can’t even access AOL chatrooms. The old AOL was actually pretty good for uploading and receiving graphic images...which was part of the community experience. From reading AOL’s blogs, their plan is to dump the old, proprietary AOL entirely and…

I agree. AOL 10.3.7 still works . . .

It "works" but already is breaking in some areas: The Welcome Screen no longer updates, it frequently crashes when trying to view email with large enclosures, and the built-in web browser has always been almost worthless. Even worse news, this "new" AOL For Desktop will apparently NEVER support the classic chatrooms. They plan to migrate chat to the web via the horrid AIM (web-based) chat. I can't speak for others but for me, the only thing…

v1.3 not quite ready

Fixed in v1.3.1! Now I’d like them to make it so when you double click on a king, it moves to the first available blank spot to the left. :)

Not an Omni Group Application

It implies no such thing. You may have inferred such because you chose to rely on primitive pattern recognition (which may be handy in a hunter gatherer society) rather than looking any further.

The image color is messed up

Im on Tiger/Intel iMac. And the problem is still present in beta 3. Actually, its not a color cast as I stated before...its like everything is completely shifted, flipped, and totally unusable.
