Metronome 1.8 (Mac OS X)

Why stop at "10"? ':oI: it's a bug!

You're right, it doesn't let you have anything other than 10 in the bell value text field! This is a bug that slipped by me. I'll fix it ASAP. Until it's fixed, here's a link to version 1.7 which works as advertised, but without some of the newer features of v1.8.: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~ronfleckner/metronome/met17.zip If you don't care about having a bell accent on anything above beat 10, then you can still use the newer 1.8 version. You can check if the bug has been fixed and the fixed version available via the app's Check For Update... menu item Ron [alert admin]

Metronome 1.1 (Mac OS X)

New version coming

Working on a new version which has an accelerator. The accelerator would increase the speed of the metronome as it plays. You might, for example, be practicing a phrase very slowly, and would like to, also very slowly, increase the speed of the metronome every, say, 36 or 48 bars. With the accelerator on, the speed would increase by the amount you set in Preferences after each number of bars set in the Accelerator section. You'll also be able to set an upper limit for the speed it reaches. If you'd like this functionality, check back in a few days. [alert admin]

Speed Match II 1.0 (Mac OS X)

New version compatible with Panther

Hi all, sorry to anyone who downloaded this and tried to run it on Panther. I've just uploaded version 1.1 which should run on Panther, though I haven't been able to test it. Ron Fleckner [alert admin]

Nice basic tool

"...it will allow you to accelerate your tempo in a controlled way (though oddly, not decelerate)." To decelerate, simply add a negative sign before the amount you wish to change the tempo by. Some of the more advanced features aren't obvious in the interface, but reading the Help will help.

Hi bls2112, I'm the maker of Metronome. I'd be very interested to get some details from you about what exactly is happening. Not sure from your description. One can certainly enter any whole number for the bell sound's beat. Please email me. The address is available from within Metronome. Thanks Ron Fleckner

not working at all

OK, sorry 'bout that, Dranken and anyone else who's tried to run Speed Match II on Panther. I wasn't aware that there was any Tiger only things in the app. I'll have a look at trying to make it run on Panther. Ron Fleckner, Speed Match II developer
