Skype 2.5.0.85 (Mac OS X)
Tip to Increase Video Resolution
Skype: How to Increase Video Resolution First, thanks to Baptiste for reporting a developer notes issued by Skype, and explaining how to use the iSight with its maximal resolution (640x480), while Skype is originally locked to 320x240. Then, you will need to have at least the version 2.5.0.85 installed on your computer. You then need to edit the file entitled "config.xml" and located in ~/Library/Application Support/Skype/YourSkypeAccount/ Replace the following code <Video> <Device>Built-in iSight</Device> </Video> by: <Video> <CaptureWidth>640</CaptureWidth> <CaptureHeight>480</CaptureHeight> <Device>Built-in iSight</Device> </Video> Save the file, then relaunch Skype. You will of course need a fast upload internet connection, and this higher resolution will give the opportunity for your contacts to better enjoy your nice face, so smile :) [alert admin]

Apple iSync 2.4 (Mac OS X)
The new version worked fine syncing both my Nokia 6600 (BT) and the wife's Moto v180 (USB). It did install somet little software on the 6600 that the previous versions did not. My biggest gripe about iSync? Why in the heck can it not sync address books across my home network?!!! The answer, very likely, is that it can but Apple would rather sell you a subscription to .mac. Countdown 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Simple and to-the-point. Upon requesting, the author added the ability to loop the notification sound so it stays on until you dismiss it. Very useful if you walk away from the computer. [alert admin]

Activity & Expense Tracker Plus 1.7 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
A little pricey but works well and the developer is very responsive. If you bill by time, this program is a must. [alert admin]

Epson Scanners TWAIN 5.73A (Mac OS 9)
This is a company that could hardly care less once they have sold you their product. Still waiting for my expensive Stylus Scan 2500 to really be supported under OSX. Enough said. [alert admin]

Small Business Tracker 1.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
*best* accounting, billing and tracking program for the individual/small business. My clients love it, and I make more $ through better billing. Although at first the interface might appear confusing, you will soon appreciate all the fields as they give you complete tracking of clients/projects/expenses. The invoicing part is icing on the cake. [alert admin]

First of all, let me say that your software appears to be an excellent product with superlative reviews. However, this lame excuse for "no demos" does not fly. There is no reason not to put a full demo out there - time limilted for 15 or 30 days. Your answer is a lot of hocus-pocus, clearly a disguised sales pitch. What you fail to realize is that you are losing a lot of…
