TheRecipeManager 3.1.2 (Mac OS X)

Great program

I know it doesn't have a demo, but I tried at the time others which I didn't like. Support helped me convert around 7000 recipes from my PocketPC PocketCook to work with TheRecipeManager V2. It was missing a few functions in V2 but after talking to them, the extra functions were coming. Now they are in V3. It is quick and easy to use. Problems are solved quickly, and support is good. Interarchy 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Have had no problems....

I have had no problems with support. Just last week or two ago, I noticed a problem. Emailed support, and got a reply saying it was a known problem and would be fixed in the next release, that was been released soon. Well here it is. IMHO is the best Mac FTP software I have ever used (and I have tried a few). Thank you and keep up the good work. [alert admin]

Maxi Bidder 1.99r12 (Mac OS X)

Give it up

I can see you don't like this software. Give it up I use http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14033 "JBidWatcher" and its worked fine under my configuration OSX 10.5.1. You don't have to keep going on and on and on etc etc. [alert admin]

FastSend 3.0 (Mac OS X)

It is easy to use

We have been using webcouier (one of there other products) and FastSend for awhile now. All compression is handled by Fileflow (well the Java interface) so you don't have to zip it up. Very clean and fast interface. [alert admin]

Punch! Home Design Studio 11.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Won't upgrade in Leopard

I like this software, but support is "what support????" You will not be able to upgrade to 11.0.3 if your running Leopard doesn't know that 10.5.1 is newer than 10.4.X so it tell you that you don't meet required specs. I am now looking around for a replacement. [alert admin]

TimeMachineScheduler 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Great program

I didn't like the hourly hard disk crunch. This allows me to change it to suite my working conditions. [alert admin]

Organized Gourmet 2.1b2 (Mac OS X)

not bad..

But I think I will stick with TheRecipeManager 2.1 for now. Did cost more, but I think it was worth it. Organized Gourmet was a very good program, and I may have got it instead, if I found it before TheRecipeManager. [alert admin]

GarageSale 3.1 (Mac OS X)

Best buy for a long time

This is excellent. This program has made, listing items, tracking it, leaving feed back all too easy. [alert admin]

RAW Developer 1.6 (Mac OS X)

Excellent...

I have a Fuji S3Pro, and 90% of my shots are in RAW. I have tried Adobes option and a few others. RAW Developer is by far the best IMHO. Takes a little bit of time to get use to the interface, and a few items bug me, but the output is excellent. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 2.2.1970.0 (Mac OS X)

Just got it

I've set up a C2D MacMini with Paralles and W2k. It is used only to run MYOB (as MYOB dropped support for the mac). We pulled out the windows box, installed Parallels, MYOB. It has work without a problem so far. Speed is great. Reason for the mac was filemaker (runs cleaner on a mac for some reason). Now we have the best of both worlds. [alert admin]

Users being Beta Testers

Ditto, It DOES say BETA in the title. Which means its work in progress. If you don't like the beta up dates DON'T USE BETA versions. Easy.

Oh PLEASE

A second thought. By the looks of it, you can't get any bidding software to work. By the looks of it, you have tried "Maxi Bidder, Auction Hunter, Silent sniper and JBidWatcher" and you couldn't get any of them to work, I would look at your system, setup, firewall, java or other security settings.

24 Hour Backups?

This gives YOU the option to run TM when you want to suit your working conditions. I found hourly a pain in the butt. This is a great program giving you more flexibility on a program that gives you none.

Is this even necessary?

I think as more and more people move to OSX, there might be a be a increase in Virus/Trojan/Malware. ATM Windowz is still the most used OS in the world, so why make a virus that effects a very small market?

Quark is not the problem... (or design 101)

Well said, except for the RGB :) We and a Photo lab and Print lab. We preferr RGB (yes black can be a problem getting thin). But the coloures are a lot better getting one black plate generated, instead of the K channel getting regenerated to suite the profile. But each place has their own setup. Designers today have NFI on setting up files any more. Why would you put a 2Gb Tiff into a Illustrator file,…

Mac OS 10.3.9+Epson Stylus Photo RX425+Gutenprint-5.0.0rc2 + Belkin Wireless G USB Print Server

I have had this problem. It wasn't to do with any drivers. I was trying to setup a HP on a netgear printserver. I was getting the same error. It turned out to be the printers address. Printer was at IP 192.168.0.169, which the Mac could see it but it wouldn't print. when I changed the Print Queue to P1 (print server had two ports) so it Queue name looked like "P1_on_192.168.0.169" or looking in the cups (127.0.0.1:631) the…
