Taggerwocky X 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Hi, I can't open an mp3 file that I've copied over from a PC, encoded with lame. I assume that this is probably because the file has no metadata (creator or file type), but it does have a .mp3 file extension. This should be easy to fix in your application, assuming that the problem exists within your program. [alert admin]

Active Timer 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This app keeps track of how much time is spent in the *active* app, you need to switch out of active timer and stay in the app for at least five seconds for any other thing to register. The timer checks every 5 seconds so as not to reduce system performance, and it effectively keeps a riemann sum with delta = 5. [alert admin]

Hi, Please try out the latest release (version 1.3.2) from http://osiris.laya.com/projects/activetimer/ and let me know if you are still encountering the same problem with active timer crashing.

It should... I had this happen to me once, and restarting my system fixed it (it appeared to be an OS X bug). Does restarting help?

It looks at applications every five seconds. So use it for a few minutes, and you'll see that it does indeed work.

Not Globally available to all apps
No, it's only available to cocoa applications, or carbon applications that have been written to take advantage of os x services.

No Real Media support or WMP 9
It does work with windows media player 9 files. acelp.net audio doesn't work because it's a proprietary codec. The only reason it works on x86 linux is because you can use the windows dll to play back this audio. Quit complaining, this is a good program.

Actually never mind, you're right, that's what happens. This is due to the fact that it prints out exactly what you'd get if you were to do cut and paste into another application. For what you're doing, you're probably best off taking a screen shot -- hit command + shift + 4, drag to select the portion of the screen you want to capture, and when you let go, the selection will be saved as "Picture 1"…

What application are you printing from? (Or what URL, if you're using safari).

You need to switch to another application for it to keep track of that app. It keeps track of the time spent in the currently active application. Try running it in the background for a little bit.
