Linkinus 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

good but not customer friendly

I bought a license 2 month ago and now I'm forced tuo buy an upgrade license for version 2.x? I got this as an answer from the developer: "You are not required to upgrade to 2.x at all." I won't spend any money again on his app! sorry, but this is not the way you treat clients after not updating your app for 1 year! At least the developer could have mentioned that a new version ist coming out and that an update will be charged. [alert admin]

Asbru Web Content Editor 6.0.5 (Mac OS X)

Finally one for Safari

As a developer I have to integrate and work with different WYSWYG-Editors. Some only work with IE on a PC, some require Firefox. But with this baby I can stay in Safari, the features are great, and Media Integration is "how it should be". [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2003-11-04 (Mac OS X)

ciphun

After already doing Archive & install with OSX 10.1 to 10.2 I'd like to reformat my drive and get rid of old junk with 10.3. (Archive & install also messed up things like php and mysql settings etc.) [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2003-11-04 (Mac OS X)

Expecting other update

Still haven't updatet to OSX 10.3 because I need my mac for work and don't want to switch between Panther and Jaguar while working. I expected an update for firewire issues and filevault problems. These problems really are nasty. I don't know if Apple thinks that a potential vulnerability in the terminal is as bad as losing your data. I just wan't to make a clean install (which almost takes a day with all apllications and settings and backups) and be able to work without fear of screwing up data. [alert admin]

SubEthaEdit 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)

Not an easy name

I've been usign hydra since months to explain actionscript code to our design staff. If somebody had a problem, he would shout: "hey join my hydra document!". With the new name this isn't so easy.(Try to yell "Subethaedit"). But I'm a totally fan of Subethaedit. [alert admin]

Concurrent Versions Librarian 27 (Mac OS X)

The only one

CVL is the only CVS client you can really!!! use for productive work. There is a newer Version 2.75 for OS X 10.2. Don't forget to costumize cvsignore and cvswrappers files, for not having problems with binary files. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.5 (Mac OS X)

Does Apple think we have spare time reinstalling systems?

As a programmer I staid with OSX 10.23 reading about too many problems. Then my sister came with her IBook running OSX 10.24 having problem with PPP. I new that was a system problem, so I did the software update and bum!, kernel panics, couldn't even boot into safe mode. Thanks Apple, now I have to spend hours doing a clean system install.
