I notice OS X 10.6 is not on the compatibility list of this page. Any plans to update soon? [alert admin]

Vuze BitTorrent Client 4.1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Here is a snip from the well regarded Ars Technica about the effort of Vuze on behalf of P2P users.
Please see the Ars site for more
Apparently their business model is being hurt by the restrictions imposed by IPS:

Vuze BitTorrent Client 4.0.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Astounding. I was trying to d/l the latest BSG episode that my recorder was supposed to capture. Long story short...fail. I am not a regular user of P2P so I fired up some other app that I had. Well, after a short time the d/l would stop. I looked at the logs, etc and concluded that firewall/router issues were suspect. But what do I do to allow for my rare P2P need without compromising my security? After some searching I came upon this application. Now, it is scary when you go thru the install as it asks for permission to punch holes in the Firewall and you will see Vuze in the exception portion of your Leopard Firewall afterward. The difference is, as I said, astounding. I have already downloaded 10% of the 300 meg file while typing this. I went to donate and was reassured to see the various SourceForge pages and to my astonishment they are NOT ACCEPTING DONATIONS. They say "Please send a donation to the EFF". Finally, the GUI is beautiful, it is loaded with tracking info and all those other goodies to satisfy the g33k in U. Thank you Vuze/SourceForge. I didn't rate the Documentation as I have not had to use these yet. Oh, BTW 16% downloaded now! [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 (Mac OS X)
Firstly the link took me to the correct version. I did take the precaution of running the Uninstaller prior to updating as others here have recommended. The Installer prompted me to quit Mail (Apple's email client) which is the first time I recall that happening. Also atypically, once the install was complete Safari did not relaunch and open to the test page. I navigated there (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507) and was greeted with the correct version number. The improvement? Zero Punctuation videos play (but I think this was a single user problem judging by my research). The Starz site throws up a blank screen asking me to download Flash. This is by far the error I encounter most frequently with Flash 10. [alert admin]

Radar In Motion 2.5.2 (Mac OS X)
I have Radar installed on two computers and three boot partitions total. Each is telling me that the map couldn't be loaded. Reinstall of the widget doesn't seem to work. [alert admin]

Microsoft IntelliPoint & IntelliType 6.2.1 (Mac OS X)
General Notes and Known Issues -Magnifying You can now change the magnification level. Press and hold the Magnify button, and then roll the mouse wheel. Roll the wheel away from you to increase the magnification level, toward you to decrease the magnification level. -Key Assignments When Microsoft Keyboard Preferences is the active window, pressing a key will reassign the key, instead of activating the current key assignment. -Scrolling Horizontal and vertical scrolling may not work in some applications. Scrolling functionality is provided by the Mac OS X operating system. If the application that you are using follows the Mac OS X scrolling guidelines, you will be able to scroll in that application. Note: To scroll horizontally, you must also have a mouse with a tilt wheel or a keyboard with a wheel. -Scrolling Speed When vertical scrolling is set to the highest scrolling speed, scrolling will function in the same way as the Page Down and Page Up commands. -User Accounts New user accounts created after the software is installed may have extra features disabled. After logging on, the new user must open Microsoft Mouse Preferences or Microsoft Keyboard Preferences (and change settings, if desired) for the settings and extra features to work as expected. -Exposé (Mac OS X v10.3) When you use both Exposé and IntelliPoint software, the mouse button settings specified in IntelliPoint are used instead of the button settings specified in Exposé. To use the Exposé button settings, change the button assignment in IntelliPoint to Handled by Mac OS. -Zooming Zooming may not be supported by applications that use custom controls. -Modifier and Hot Keys If you press a modifier key (such as Shift, Control, or Alt) while pressing a Hot Key, the Hot Key may not function or may activate a different command. -My Favorites Keys When you upgrade from an older version of IntelliType Pro, the My Favorites keys won’t work until you open Microsoft Keyboard Preferences at least once. -Wired and Wireless Devices If you connect a wired and wireless device to your computer at the same time, the wireless device will appear in Microsoft Mouse Preferences or Microsoft Keyboard Preferences for configuration. This may restrict access to some of the additional keys or buttons that are on the connected wired device. -Keyboard Layout When you select a new keyboard layout in Microsoft Keyboard Preferences, some keys may not work as expected until you log out and then log on again. -Japanese OS When you use the Natural Keyboard Pro or Internet Keyboard Pro on a Mac with the default language set to Japanese, some keys may not work as expected until you select the JIS keyboard layout, log out, and then log on again. VersionTracker Pro 4.2.2 (Mac OS X)
When things run so smoothly I forget it's a good idea to write those who make things work. Ease of use: Check. One does have to dismiss dialog boxes and enter a administrator password for installation. I don't know if it would even be legal for VT to automate the license acceptance. Otherwise, it's auto pilot. Support: Check. I've had VT write me several times about installation issues. When I was new to their application I tried to populate the update list by dragging apps from the mounted DMG. Oops. Features: I like the options of seeing what information shows up in the Watch List. I prefer the short description for instance and I uncheck the OS column. I also like the option of which HD partition to scan. Quality/Stability: Never crashes. Sometimes slow. Nearly all the apps self-install except for Widgets. I keep utility files and lesser applications scattered over several partitions and VT finds them and installs them. Price: The annual fee is justified and compensated for in saved hours of monitoring and installing updates manually. Just figure how long this would take you and multiply times your hourly wage. I would say it pays for itself after the first month. No apologies, I'm an unabashed VT fan and proselytizer. [alert admin]

Flip4Mac WMV 2.1.1.70 (Mac OS X)
I've been using this product since before MS recommended it for Mac users. It was only when I saw the email notice from VT that a new version was available that it occurred to me how seamless this plugin works. The only thing I've noticed is the odd looking progress bubble that looks like this ) (. Otherwise I forget that I don't even have Windows Movie Player plugin anymore. [alert admin]

keyboard not responding for other users
Quick note, the installation went well and the new Preference Panes look great. None of the other desktop users on my computer could get the function keys to work. In truth, we stopped trying the keys when it was observed the Log 0ff key and the Volume keys would not respond. First I tried copying preference files from the Administrator without avail. Finally after doing the usual voodoo I simply (but repetitiously) did a new install from the desktop of each user. Four reboots later all was well. --jk [alert admin]

Compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6)
I've been using 7.0.0 (v.250) Here's what I found. I have a Wireless Comfort Keyboard and the native Snow Leopard driver will work for basic functioning of the keyboard. The MS software enables the function keys but if I want to change the action I have to go into Apple's Keyboard Shortcuts to set this parameter. Zoom does not work, the Calculator and Log Off buttons don't respond and the Eject button does a combination…

Note on the website as of June 6th.
I have been getting many messages that Radar In Motion is no longer working. Unfortunately, I won’t be back in front of my Mac until tomorrow evening to see what is going on. If Radar in Motion isn’t working for you at all, don’t worry, I’m hoping to look into it this weekend and get it back to a working state. I suspect weather.com changed their format or…

keyboard not responding for other users
Installing a Login Item for other users is not generally a good idea, even if you are an administrator installing a driver. Many drivers use Login Items to perform user-level operations through a helper application, and most of them require each user to open their preference pane once to activate the helper. There is no need to reinstall for each user, opening the preference pane once in every user account is usually more than enough…

Makes user work more than the program does
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. As a Password Wallet user myself I have yet to find another app that automates the login process as well. And you will have to admit Password Wallet is almost butt ugly but once you map the right number of tabs and returns to make autofill work on a particular web page it works with the single option keystroke thereafter. Still, I'm going to Password Vault's updates to see how…

Sometimes the information never loads
I am looking at my list of Installed Software which list all of 10 itmes now. Of those 4 are still Loading Information after 10 minutes. They are Gizmo Project, KoTOR, OpenGL Extension Viewer and DoppleViewer.wdgt. I should note that Gizmo and OpenGL both list updates as being needed yet I have downloaded and installed both several times now and they are still showing as the old version. In other words the updates aren't really…

Ditto. Same experience here both on Comedy Central and CNN. Interestingly the Comedy Central site obviously passes the feed to the plug-in since the blank screen plays only half way through (in trial mode Flip4Mac is only supposed to play half the video). I'll catch up when the software is more polished. Good start though.<p> There is an uninstall tab in the Preference settings. Hope it works.

Tiger fix for IntelliMouse Explorere 3.0
Thank you for the URL. I had Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and after the Tiger upgrade I was unable to get to the driver that worked. My install disc wanted OS 9! And clicking on VersionTracker's previous version pull-down lead me back to version 5.1 on the Microsoft site. This saved me a lot of headache. BTW I just installed over version 5.1 and so far everything is fine. Couldn't find the mythical uninstaller (why isn't it…
