Toast Titanium 10.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Wish

I wish Roxio would remove Toast's dependencies on the other bundled applications; they are badly designed and ruin the experience that used to be much more pleasant, simpler and easier. [alert admin]

Camino 1.6.7 (Mac OS X)

One of the best browsers out there

I really like this very elegant browser. One of the best features are the plug-ins that you can get from PimpMyCamino (such as SafariBlock and PithHelmet). [alert admin]

NeoOffice 3.0 (Mac OS X)

Very Impressive

I have an aversion to anything that requires X11, so OpenOffice was never an option. But NeoOffice for Mac OS X is a very impressive solution. So far, it can open, edit and save all the documents that I have thrown at it. I look forward to using this very useful piece of software. [alert admin]

Safari 4 Modifier 0.2.4 (Mac OS X)

Secrets revealed

Here is the evidence that the developer does not know how to create an application that conforms to Apple's user interface guidelines: http://forums.realsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27245&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a Case closed. [alert admin]

Safari 4 Modifier 0.2.4 (Mac OS X)

Beware

The developer keeps trolling and touting his amazing and thoughtful comparison web page, but he is clearly biased since he does not provide a fair and balanced comparison between the most recent versions of the softwares in question. Safari 4 Buddy has a better icon and an updated user interface. Safari 4 Modifier looks more like a Windows app and has a giant verbose button that violates Apple's guidelines. Why not include that in your comparison? [alert admin]

Safari 4 Modifier 0.2.4 (Mac OS X)

Shameful

There are problems with this app as noted in several comments below. Instead of taking those comments as constructive criticism, the developer flames back. I cannot recommend this software because of that. Finally, I am in 100% agreement. You people should be ashamed. HotScientist leaves multiple 5-star reviews. MarkusWinter has a sick obsession to harass those who disagree with him. [alert admin]

Beware

Your homework for today is to look up the definition of the word "irony" and learn how it applies to the comments of the developer of this software. There is a lot of hypocrisy coming from the developer and I am speaking out for those who are not aware of it.
