SMART Utility 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)
Crashed for me. This system has 2 disk drives, both were detected and the details recovered for one only. Clicked on the other disk drive and the program crashed with an exception error. (Forwarded to Apple!!!) Certainly the SMART Utility seems to give more detailed info but I don't think that this is a competitor for SMARTReporter. They do difference things and for my clients, just knowing that there is something there watching their disk drives and it hasn't changed colour provides the degree of security they want. The details of SMART Utility will certainly be great for hardware watchers. Ran the program again and it failed to restart. Still good idea however. Will change my rating with the next release... Mars24 6.0 (Mac OS X)
Well its free for us here in Australia... about time we got something for free from the Yanks... After all, your tax dollars go to subsidise food growers over there to the detriment of us more efficient food and resource producers over here, so why not subsidise something that we like for a change. By the way subsidise is the correct English spelling... [alert admin]

teleport 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This is brilliant software. I use it between my heavy duty old PPC DP monster and a couple of macBooks. Very efficient. This version seems to fix a bug whereby I couldn't transfer a small file to the macBook then back again (yes, useful...) Now works fine and fast. Would love to see the networking side of the source purely for interest sake!! For those wanting to use it, go for it, works well in 10.5.2. And interestingly, a very thorough ReadMe document. What are people suggesting as a figure for the donation ware? This is worth it. [alert admin]

Apple Aluminum PowerBook 15 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Using the Option key to select either one of 2 OSX systems on my macBook worked fine... admittedly I booted the macBook then restarted it and then held down the option key... worked like a dream. Arrow keys to select the drive/system, return to fire up... fine. Should (!!) work with bootcamp. [alert admin]

Yah, the functions keys work!! This update seems to have gone on perfectly. It's a bit unusual doing a firmware update via bluetooth but the keyboard seems to work correctly at last. [alert admin]

Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X 6.0 (Mac OS 9)
As of 10.5, mount_ntfs is available as part of 10.5. In theory ntfs drives should(!) mount automagically... Go to /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and type man mount_ntfs to see how to use. This is standard Unix stuff so all should be straight forward... Command should look something like mount_ntfs /dev/diskxsy /Volumes/myNTFSDriveName where x and y are related to drive and partition numbers. Haven't tried this specifically as I don't have an NTFS disc to test. Type df to look at the mount map. Interested to hear any results. [alert admin]

PowerTicker 2.7.3 came out today, yes 2.7.3, and its good. Still the best program for monitoring shares, pity my own shares are ...., I mean, poor performers. [alert admin]

Also just reran the MyMp3 again with same failure result so it can't be in the list of filenames - must be a missing title associated with a a file - perhaps??!!. Cheers, Bruce.

Tested your updated website version on 2 machines now - G5 machine didn't work but the Intel Machine worked pefectly. Something to do with the TITLE error which would explain the page display error on Safari. I don't think it has anything to do with the G5 or Perl or 10.4.9 etc. I'll create another account on the G5 and test it with just 1 MP3 which the same configuration as the Intel macBook. Cheers,…

Could be a problem with the Space Time continuum - I'd have a chat with Einstein... I'd always come in from the East then you'd always be on holiday... (sorry couldn't resist)
