Spaceward Ho! 5.0.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
game, and looks solid after playing the demo for a short time. Not much changed from when I played it about a decade ago. But when playing the demo beware - although it will let you save a game, it wont let you open one! I wasn't much impressed with this sneaky and unmentioned move, so I've shelved it for now, maybe I'll come back and try again in six months and then pay my $40. [alert admin]

Canon ScanExpert 3.8 (Mac OS X)
for me - GraphicConverter recognizes the plug in, and the calibration and preview work fine, but as soon as the scan starts scanning it crashes :-( Drats, I've been waiting for over a year already for this, and now finally the driver is released and it crashes, very disappointing! And where is the Toolbox!?! [alert admin]

Canon CanoScan LiDE 20 7000X (Mac OS X)
ready Canon, my N1220U is still useless - how long has it been, over a year now? Sigh. [alert admin]

NeoAlarm 2.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
time in 24 hour mode according to my system settings, but sadly will not let me set the alarm time with an hour > 12 which renders it useless to me. A timer might be a nice addition too. As it is, I'll use freeAlarmClock instead even though it does not let me configure the alarm sound. [alert admin]

Geneforge 1.0.1 (Mac OS 9)
this game, the game play was excellent, the storyline wonderfully compelling, and the graphics were sufficient (except for pod shapes, which sounds like it is improved in 1.0.1). Wonderful game, great job! [alert admin]

According to Activity Monitor, on my Mac currently, Keyboard Maestro and Keyboard Maestro Engine and Keyboard Maestro Web Server currently show use of 0.0 CPU and 8.5Meg, 8.3Meg and 1.3Meg of real memory. For comparison, some other real memory uses: Activity Monitor: 14Meg, DragThing: 16Meg, GrowlHelperApp: 17Meg, KeyCue: 15Meg.

Yes, there has been a trial version for over a year. The trial period is roughly 7 individual calendar days (so you do not get caught out if you download it, launch it once, and then wait until you have some spare time to look at it).

You can paste in images or styled text by using the named clipboards. See the How do I Insert Styled/Colored Text or Images? section I added to the documentation.

You do not have to pay for Interarchy before trying it out, there is a trial period of around seven non-consecutive days before it will time out.

"But the people responsible for marketing it could learn a few lessons:" that would be me. "there should be an explicit list of changes since the last version;" http://www.interarchy.com/documentation/7/whatsnew.html "there should be easy-to-access pricing information for upgrades (of course, this is another paid upgrade: $19);" http://www.interarchy.com/documentation/7/purchase.html "and why does almost every page on the site have to be hosted on a subdomain?;" It is one way of doing consistent constant URLs that never change. "knowing that sooner or later, Interachy 8.0…
