Mercury 0.1 (Mac OS X)
Finally can now throw out VPC and that stinky dell corporate laptop. sametime chat is pretty nasty at best but at least now with this client around its going to be so much nicer to look at. even at this early stage it really does look a hundred times better in OSX than windozeXP. [alert admin]

Wrists of Fury 1.0b2 (Mac OS X)
hundreds of furious wrists but doubtfully spinning too many records. it's actually very weird because right up until now I only just thought gimmick-boy deejays were mainly of the terminally wankered variety - according to the name of this software it's now offical... hehe dopey gits. [alert admin]

VisualRoute 7.2a (Mac OS X)
low value and incredibly overpriced ![]()

i don't doubt VisualRoute has something somewhere going for it to justify the unbelievable price asked for here. problem is I just don't see what the hell it could be. compared to Whatroute (100% free. btw), IPNetMonitor or MacAnalysis this is a very nasty and very cynical JOKE. [alert admin]

not intending to criticize the authors programming efforts too much but this is plainly TELETUBBY musak. it's utterly sh!te beyond mere words. seemingly made for to keep babies quiet (by inducing a death-like coma state). Let's face it - some things are definitely best not done on computers. it was worth a try but this needs to be buried somewhere deep. a galactic black hole for instance. [alert admin]

horoScope 1.0b1 (Mac OS X)
that's french for cobblers. 'harmless fun' for those that really feel the need to believe. they don't much want to understand. to them, understanding is not as important as willies, fannys and wealth. instead of learning they dream of horoscopes. you should be prepared to accept the consequences if you choose to use these people as babysitters [alert admin]

My Time Card 1.2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
But unfortunately trips up right at the very last hurdle. Just a few silly mistakes make this program difficult to use in real life. I can't make myself pay for this (much as I'd like to) - it just aint up to snuff. sorry. Five stars for good effort tho. I like the idea/design lotsa [alert admin]

PowerManager 1.0b4 (Mac OS X)
For an alarm clock-type app i'm really hoping for something a little more reliable. Power Manager looked very promising but seemed to work off and on :) I reckon it failed to play anything in iTunes for at least 80% of the time - although it did wake the 'puter up admittedly pretty reliably. I'm trying to get it automatically play a certain radio stream initially on wake up and failing that would fall back to a regular playlist. I created a new playlist with one entry for the radio station but still no deal. i really want to pay for this but i'm absolutely fcked if i'm going to fork over my cash for the privilege of being a beta tester. giving up on power manager for now...
