Using JPT to dial via JaJah  

JaJah isn't mentioned in JPT's help facility, so I contacted the author. If you would like to use JPT with JaJah, please find below details of how to do so. Most of the instructions are from the Jon Nathan [whom I have found always to be VERY responsive BTW]; I tweaked the URL to get the country code to work. This assumes the phone number are in your Address Book and formatted +country code-area code-number (the + is optional but good practice if you sync your Address Book to your mobiles...) First, in the URL Dial Method settings, configure it like so: URL: http://www.jajah.com/members/?d=%2b%# Contact Name Encoding: None Call URL: Using Default Browser Next, in your Dialing Rules, set the Dial Method for each call type (e.g., Local, Long Distance, etc.) to use the URL Dial Method. Also make sure that you leave the prefix for the long distance or local calls blank (e.g., don't include "1" or any other character). When you dial a number with JPT now, the JAJAH site should open in your default web browser with the number you are dialing inserted in the form. Having to manually type in the URL string when changing from GIZMO to JAJAH is a pain. I raised this with the author. The next version of JPT (DIALECTIC) will allow multiple URL preferences to be stored and used in any combination with the Dial Methods. [alert admin]
