KoalaCalc 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)

The only 2 things it dosn't have...

are binary/hex/octal modes and a tape (recorder of past results). Otherwise it is GREAT. Add that little stuff (it shouldn't be difficult) and I'll even pay for this. Suggested price: 5$ donationware. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Mac OS X)

Smooth as silk...

on my TiBook 1G _and_ my G4 500MP. Ok, this update was good, but it seems to be (just another) bug fix. I WANNA 10.3 !!!! [alert admin]

Plasma Screensaver 1.0b (Mac OS X)

Buy this piece of... ?

No, thanks. It is HUGE, repeating and, ultimately, boring. I know that creating a looping video is not a joke, and 5$ or so are not too much, but savers are usually free. Moreover I HATE repeating savers, so... I'll not recommend to anyone this saver. BTW, for the author (not programmer), learn programming with something (ObjC or Java) and start doing real savers. there's much more fun and the results are completely different. [alert admin]

GPRS Script Generator 1.8.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Great

Vodafone IT said that the Option GPRS card would NEVER work with a MacOS. 10 minutes and I did an impossible thing. For 10$ it's a very good product. Thank you and keep supporting MacOS against those d*m*a*s operators. Only a complain: you'll have to know a little bit of GPRS to unslash the real power of your connection, otherwise don't play with non-standard settings. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Now it works !

Finally ! I had a web site where I had to use IE because both Safari and Camino had problems with link parsing and redirection. Now Safari works as a charm. Yet another reason to NOT use IE. Thanks Apple. [alert admin]

Apple iChat AV 2.0 (Mac OS X)

No USB, but...

...it's a good start. Note that my Logiteck QuickCam Zoom IS supported by other tools (like Yahoo! Messanger), so it shouldn't be difficult to support it in iChat2 too. Despite this... wunderbar ! [alert admin]

Ringtone Converter X 4.4 (Mac OS X)

Works fine, but it lacks important features

tainscough, you're a moron. Verizon is just *a* company, and it's small compared to GSM-based ones. The world isn't the USA, and in the world your phone is almost unknown. Motorola _and_ Nokia are far the most used phones in the worls, so don't blame a sw just because it does not support a phone type. I give 3 stars to this app just because 1) it lacks of polyphonic support, 2) the piano is horrible and 3) because the price is too high. Otherwise it is a nice app. Keep improving it and the ratings will go higher. BTW; why don't we blame the _phones_ manufacturers ? Why we need to have several standards to excange ringtones instead to use all MIDI files ? [alert admin]

Patriot Screensaver 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Are you kidding ?

FYI: 1) OldGlory (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/11935) is freeware and is FAR better than this. 2) OldGlory was released after 11/9, in days where it could be intresting for all the people in the world, now an american flag waving around is unintresting for most of us. 3) it COULD be of some interest if you can choose the flag or, better, change it with a peace or ONU flag. 4) the overall implementation is ugly. Just a plain sin wave, you have to learn a lot on how flags swing on the air. 5) two srtips aren't of the right red color... To be concise: think twice to release such a thing in the future. PS: I'm not anti-USA, I just don't feel any patriotism for the USA flag, 'cause I'm not an USA citizen and I'm against the actual USA foreign politics. [alert admin]

iTeXMac 1.3rc0 (Mac OS X)

Astonishing

Yes !!! This editor rocks. Sure, TeXShop is stable, but this seems far more expandable and it has a lot of features that TeXShop doesn't have. Usin this or TeXShop is a matter of personal feeling, but I use both, depending on my mood. Keep up the good work. [alert admin]

The only 2 things it dosn't have...

Sorry, just realized that there IS a tape recorder. Now the onlything I miss is a hex/octal/binary mode (with the appropriate funtions, aka roll, shift, and, or xor, and so on).

Very nice start

Yes, randomness is only used at the start. I'll add random changes during saver's use, model complexity and rotation speed configuration in the next release, but I had to check if YOU (the users) like this saver before spending some more time on it... Now I know, I'll have to add more features ;-{))
