Some people shouldn't play with realbasic ![]()

There should be some way to identify on the calendar that an entry was made for a particular day. How do I know what days I entered something? Also saving each entry as a seperate text document is ridiculous. This piece of junk is an example of what gives realbasic a bad name and allows anyone to pretend they are programmers. [alert admin]

Kudos for converting this new version to FM7 with a trial version you found. But don't you think you could try to develop a solution that's optimised to Filemaker 7's features rather than Filemaker 3? After all you are asking almost 100 bucks for it. Maybe if you sell a couple licenses you could buy your very own copy of Filemaker 7 and design Sunrise like a FM7 relational database should be. [alert admin]

TV Tracker 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Really great the way I can choose my satellite provider, my time zone and then my favorite channels. Easy to use and looks good. [alert admin]

RADRentalAnalyzer 1.7 (Mac OS X)
Wished the Tenant Manager had more features like the ability to enter transactions and monitor late payments and other fees. Also reports (statements and receipts) would be nice. That may be beyond the scope of this app but with easy tabbed interface, a lot of added functionality could be added and would definitely be worth paying for. [alert admin]

Life Balance 3.2.6 (Mac OS X)
I have been waiting a long time for an update, but whats this? One little bug fix, an error log improvement and a bouncing icon? The Windows folk may settle for such nonsense but don't expect Mac users to deal infinitely with a program with an obsolete interface. [alert admin]

These theme developers had plenty of time to update their themes for Rapidweaver 3.1. Afer all, the Rapidweaver beta was available well before it was released. I'm not saying they owe it to us or have to update their themes, but this lack of support certainly reflects these theme developers are not on their toes, don't take their products seriously, and were just looking for a quick buck when they brought their product to market. ConvertIt Pro 2.5 (Mac OS X)
Nice but I need to locate units easier
I like all the things about this app including the vast choices and the ability to add your own. However the interface sometimes slows me down as I forget where a particular unit is located and have to search the index. It reminds me of searching through folders for a particular file. I would suggest some way to tag favorites so they can be easily located or even better, a quickfind text box for all the units. For instance if I wanted "cu yards", I could just type in "yard" and it would select matching criteria. [alert admin]

Yes you are right. I thought I checked a couple years back thinking it was Cocoa, but it is indeed carbon.

It already is a native Cocoa app. But your right that it doesn't take advantage of some OS X features like services and spotlight.

That is great, but why keep your users in the dark for so many months. People just want to know if it is still being developed.

Not only that but because it is based on FM3, it obviously doesn't take advantage of any improvements to later versions of Filemaker.

It's actually a feature. This app is merely Leveraging the massive power of the REALbasic frameworks, including the finely honed NilObjectException dialog. Rapid application development never had it so good.
