I downloaded a demo to try. The demo puts an x through whatever you do but, I never got that far. I looked at it's own crappy icon , OI looked at the confusing little interface , read that it was an fake demo then popped it into the trash like all the crappy nonfunctional demo's. 90% of these things are just crap. I mean they dont tell you anything and honestly , not worth the time . [alert admin]

I have just trashed three other teleprompter softwares here for what I consider the worst blasphemies of all software makers. Demo's that don't work, demo's that are so limited that if they do work, WHO CARES ! It's refreshing to find an app anyone can use and does what it says. It's raw and simple but it does exactly what you would hope, be useful. AND THE DEMO WORKS ! My only problem is with the price. 65 dollars for teleprompter software ? Do you guys just sit down and make up these numbers ? Charging more then what game companies pay a 100 people for to do with licensing costs ? Sure they sell more but this is ridiculous ! 25 dollars an app would be totally doable and cut down on bootleg, theft and hate . It's too much guys. [alert admin]

Look, these guys have been trying to make this work since the beginning. It crashes, it doesn't work, it NEVER worked. I bought the first versions when I started in OSX and after being the free beta tester for this horrid little program I finally gave up. So here I come back to see if it's improved , well , I don't have my password , that was when I had another email, so I write them, not a word. Their stupid password recovery system is based on the email you had back then WHICH YOU PROBABLY DONT HAVE ! Think I'm going to pay again for what ended up being a reason to do a complete reinstall ? H E double hockey sticks no ! Lousy crashmaster program that isn't supported ! Dump that junk ! [alert admin]

SpeedBit Video Accelerator for Mac 1.0.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Pro's: You might get slight improvements on a hardwired ethernet , maybe. Cons: Deceptively described as shareware. It is not. It is a commercial product you get to demo for 14 days and during that 14 days you are badgered to register for a 20 dollar a year subscription . Also , instead of speeding anything up it slowed mine down. If you run a high end Mac with a good internet, it might help, maybe, we will have towait for proof of that but till then avoid. Sorry Chris but that wont do. There should be NO time limits to a next version upgrade if you bought the previous full version . None. The video imbeds were needed in the first version . If the app was fully functioning and there were new features great but that was an update to finish what it lacked and not something that developers should use to pressure previous buyers into buying.
