Why are there 2 versions (with the same version number) on the download page? The only difference seems to be the icons......??? [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X Intel 10.4.10 (Mac OS X)
I've downloaded the Combo update 3 different times, and every time I double-click the package, the Installer opens and closes immediately -- no error messages, nothing. I've already fsck'd in single user mode, no problems. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 8.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Is there a direct download link we can use so we can avoid the brain-dead Adobe installer? [alert admin]

QT Sync 0.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Is there an easier way to resize the window than the set options under the View menu? Other video players have the bottom right corner resize widget so I can make the window as large (or as small) as I want. That would be a nice feature to add for the next version. [alert admin]

MakingMusic 2.7 (Mac OS X)
Has this wonderful app become Abandonware? The link for the developer's site (both here and from within the app's info window) leads to an easyspace.com placeholder. Is this still being developed? [alert admin]

Open Fire 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Please add a preference to turn the music OFF. I know I can just mute the sound of the Mac, but then I won't hear alerts from other applications. [alert admin]

FlashMount 1.5.2 (Mac OS X)
The problem of mounting only one of a group of disk images is still there. I'm using a brand new MacBook Pro with all the Apple updates, and if I drop a group of images onto FlashMount only the first image mounts. BUT...if I do File-->Open, then Apple-click to select multiple images, they all mount just fine. Looks like this is a problem with drag and drop in FlashMount. [alert admin]

Bee Docs' Timeline 1.5 (Mac OS X)
It's a great app, but $50 is way to pricey for a piece of shareware to make timelines. Esp. when somthing big like Delicious Library (just to give one example) is $40. The perfect price for this would be $20-$25. At that price I'd jump right in... [alert admin]

The download link leads to "altervista.com" -- some Italian site that makes no mention of 7zX. [alert admin]

This "feature" was actually introduced in 7.2 (at least it worked for me in versions of QT prior to 7.2). Perhaps that green button wasn't *meant* to be an expand button, that's exactly how it worked in QTPlayer prior to 7.2...click the green widget, movie expands to fill screen. You can also do this by pressing Command-3.

If it downloads a ".dmg.bz" file, delete the .bz (don't try to decompress it) leaving just the .dmg. It should then open.

They are for the LIDE 30 and LIDE 20 scanners...those *are* the model numbers (they're on the outside lid).
