TechTool Pro 5.0.6 (Mac OS X)
Please try again later...to update;
Seems the update doesn't go through...instead this warning message appears: "An error occurred while downloading the update. Please try again later." And, of course, "later" never comes...so a telephone call's in order— let's hope that helps. [alert admin]

Amadeus Pro 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
As stale reviews grow... It is a shame to read old ["stale"] reviews, which do not adduce to the benefits of this, the latest upgrade. I for one, want to read something indicative of the software's ability, strengths and ease-of-use...as well as the demerits ascribed before I decide if want to test this software, the purchase it. It's just another reason I toped my "subscription" to VersionTracker Pro. I care not to read masturbatory exultations or picayune diminuendos regarding the any software's efficacy. Hopefully Cnet will get the gist... It is a shame to read old ["stale"] reviews, which do not adduce to the benefits of this, the latest upgrade. RipIt 1.0.9 (Mac OS X)
Leopard yes, then what's for tiger?
Just as I was about to go whole hog...I noticed RipIt's for Leopard. So before this reader finally makes the switch, what can a Tiger user use? My G5 runs on Motorola's, not Intel's processors. [alert admin]

Speed Download 5.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Does VersionTracker have an IN with Yazsoft?
Does VersionTracker have an "in" regarding SpeedDownload? My 5.0.0 does NOT know, at this time [4pm PST], about the 5.0.1 update...what gives? [alert admin]

Safari Extender 1.6.6 (Mac OS X)
Just learned of the injury you sustained and the surgeries involved. There are many VersionTracker users, Ricardo, who want your recovery, that you get well, not only of your body but also of the mind & one's spirit. And that you return again to do the things that are important to you and to those you love. BeWell & Heal, Sherman in San Francisco [alert admin]

1Passwd 2.3.3 (Mac OS X)
Yes, the current download is 2.3.3
After downloading this latest version, 2.3.3 then doing an "info" check, it comes up as 2.3! Nevertheless, when one runs it, the "About 1Password" shows as the current, 2.3.3 version. And so far it's running fine. After the learning curve finishes, it's gonna be get 5-stars! [alert admin]

As the previous input/review is about one year old...perhaps it's time to "archive" it and the other prior findings, comments & observations and the rantings? [alert admin]

WingNuts 2 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
It's an Installer Upgrade NOT a Demo...
I recently downloaded what I thought was a demo/trial version...but the installer would only upgrade a "found" version...perhaps the developer might address this? Besides, it looks looks good but the obvious boo-boo ain't fun...it's frustrating besides... How can anyone recommend any software without first installing it THEN trying it? Anyone who trashes a program simply because there was a installation error without actually running it would seem to have a box of rocks between their ears. PS: For the undecided: Perhaps a "not sure" button is needed? [alert admin]

It's an Upgrade...not a try-out!
Comic Life appears to be a compact & easy piece of software to use. And it would be great to try out...seems easier than trying to do the same thing in Adobe's CS2—but wait a minute! This is Not a Demo! IT'S AN UPGRADE! So after downloading the 8.9 MB package, it was sure not funny, when the download couldn't find the original to upgrade. So how can anyone try it out? And their website offered nada. [alert admin]

Zoo Tycoon 2 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Hope you improve your prosduct support...
Seems like it's almost a year [but it's really less] when I purchased the previous version of ZT—at an Apple store...and I couldn't get it to work on my G5. OK, no problemo! Until the Apple store guys did a "sorry Charlie, contact the mfg." thing. Great, then it got worse from the website's non-answer responses and calling them made me sick & got me nowhere as to removing that "hiding" invisable backslash. No "techie" help came through to solve this little problem nor did I get any human email response. Gee, I paid full price & have given up trying to make a go of this fascinating game—months ago. I only hope nobody has the same nightmares I had trying to make this game-program function...and that their online & human tech support can at least do their job—like with some "after–sales service"? Who knows, this commentator just might buy another "game" from this company? Then again, that all depends if this purchaser can get the previous version to at least run. And to think I paid "retail" at an Apple store. Ditto. [alert admin]

In reviewing your faulty & biased comment...just because you've got a problem opening the download doesn't mean the software's bad or not made well. All your whining & moaning demonstrates is your inability to solve the problem, ask a question...or for that matter, request assistence.

Yes, there is a need & thanx!!!
Thank you MacinTalk Pro for your righteous response. For too long I've had to endure tastelessly banal & insipid remarks, masking the obvious put–down, about an intelligent piece of software. Your remarks demonstrate the need for unique software to help the individual—truly creative problem–solving! Thank you —S—

Shame it's not for the MAJORITY of OS X users!
If the original message you responded to is ablmost two years old...how can wrong? Their data source was current then while Tiger was not available. so what's the self-justification about?

so who knows what...and for how long??? Incessant "pissing wars" only hurt all three parties involved, proving nothing more than, "Danger will Robinson — Yellow Snow!" Regardless of how elegant a solution may be, the obvious question still remains, "Did it solve the problem?" Variants [to this] are merely individualistic and only impose topical ego-threats. In lieu of the "Ford vs Chevy" kluge-crap; a collegial understanding produces inexorable benefits for all.

Site Viewing Gives Eyeball Strain...
Oh gee, someone didn't find the comment "useful". The mere observation of feeling woozy, headachy & nacæus from the creator's website viewage may alert "the powers that be" to retool to perhaps improve the potential-purchaser "experience"? Though I'm not that crafty with all the new, all-fangled software and I don't espouse to that seemingly high-faloot'n faux-elegance of...you fill-in-the-blanx...I can still exact a credible response & observation. I don't cotton to the arrogance of the disposable set.…

What's free about this You Control Tunes?
What IS your problem...? Paranoia does not help anyone nor the lack of any form of information others can use. Look at it another way...if it helps—good...if not—ok...but if it's just that someone forgot to dot your "i"—say too bad & move on!
