MP3 Alarm Clock 2.3.2 (Mac OS X)
Been using this for years. Has always worked great, and still works after upgrading to Leopard.5.2. It's got everything I want in an alarm clock app: gradually increasing playback volume, incrementally decreasing snooze time and even unmutes system volume and sets it to 200% maximum in case I forget the night before. DVDpedia 4.2.0 (Mac OS X)
Now my MBP iSight works like a champ. I may even get rid of my CueCat. The best DVD cataloger just got better. The items on my request checklist are being addressed one by one. The only remaining important ones to me are nested box set handling and more graceful multiple genre handling and it'll be perfect. Thanks Connor and Nora! [alert admin]

Keyboard Cleaner 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I can't believe an app like this has taken this long to emerge! I have been wishing for this functionality for years. Simple and well done. Thanks! [alert admin]

DVDAttache 3.7.0 (Mac OS X)
A promising application. There are some nice features not found in other DVD cataloging programs. However, the lack of any ability to import an existing collection en masse makes this useless for me. I am not going to manually add 400+ titles, even with the neat "Quick Add" feature. Can't wait until this fundamental feature is added! [alert admin]

Chax 1.4.4b2 (Mac OS X)
Barring no alert sound, great. ![]()

Chax has been a great addition to iChat, except it has somehow disabled any alert sounds. They are enabled in iChat's prefs and the sounds play when testing them there, but when I receive a message, the Chax dock notification works, but there is no sound, and the icon does not bounce repeatedly as I have the iChat pref set. Once this has been fixed, it will be perfect. [alert admin]

JAlbum 6.4 (Mac OS X)
I have been using Photosite Timesaviour for years and while it is still a great app, it is getting a little long in the tooth. JAlbum is a welcome alternative. I especially like how it creates links to the next/previous slides and index on the picture itself. The keyboard shortcuts are also cool. Only a couple things I'd like to see: One handy thing PSTS does that JAlbum doesn't yet is creates a thumbnail from Quicktime movies. Also, when using a picture as part of a folder icon, the picture is quite small, and only that part of the icon is clickable. When arranging the pictures, which PSTS doesn't let you do, BTW, JAlbum seems to put any QT movie at the end, no matter where you put it in the layout. When you are at the top level index, the "Up" button takes you too far up past the top index. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with this program. It really lets a person ignorant of HTML create a slick-looking thumbnail site. The price is right, too! [alert admin]

Pause 0.5.3 (Mac OS X)
I've only used it to fade out iTunes, so cannot comment on the other features, but it does that very well. The "Street Spirit Fade Out" iTunes script from Doug Adams only works about 70% of the time for me, so this is a nice alternative. I emailed the developer with the only thing that I could think of to improve this: the option to make a longer duration fade out, as the existing one fades out over 5 seconds or so. It would be nice to have a two minute fade out so as not to be as noticeable while falling asleep. [alert admin]

httpmail plugin 1.41 (Mac OS X)
I just downloaded this great plugin a few days ago, and it worked like a charm. Today I get an error message stating Hotmail now requires a subscription to allow httpmail access. Oh well... :/ [alert admin]

I will second that request. I like the two finger scrolling, but I desperately miss tap to right click.

Delicious Library has that feature and the ability to scan the bar codes with an iSight. Not the greatest app, but love those features!
