iS3 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Firstly, versiontracker reports this as shareware and the readme claims it's freeware. More importantly, it doesn't work behind a password based firewall, which is what we happen to have here. I get error "103" when I try to start the simulation, which isn't exactly helpful. [alert admin]

macstl 0.1.5 (Mac OS X)
Out of the box, it doesn't work with PB on 10.2. The compilers are hard coded into the project (see Target -> Settings -> Expert View) to use GCC 3.3. Default for 10.2 is GCC 3.1. Compiling also generated a lot of warnings: internal/valarray_indirect.h:219: warning: Invalid skip header index count. internal/valarray_indirect.h:219: warning: Indexing information is not generated properly. Having fixed these, it compiled and ran the tests just fine. [alert admin]

Unreal Tournament 2004 1.0 (Mac OS X)
The internet servers button is greyed out though it offers LAN. I use an AirPort card to connect to a router, which has an external ethernet modem (1MB DSL). The game itself runs okay on this dual 2.0Ghz Mac with 1.5GB of RAM and ATI 9600 card. The OS is 10.3.2. [alert admin]

Halo 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
This patch causes problems with the backwards and forwards keys. They no longer work. I'm re-installing the previous version from the CD and the older patch. I'd suggest waiting for a new patch before you install this. Infact, they ought to pull the patch. If it's of any use, my system is a dual 2.0Ghz G5 with 1.5MB of RAM. I'm running 10.3.2. CocoModX 0.2.2 (Mac OS X)
it certainly plays the various formats of Amiga tracker files but there are a couple of niggles... it needs to open a .zip file directly as downloads are usually in zip format. It also needs someone to write a GUI. The current GUI needs an awful lot of work. [alert admin]

Apple X11 0.2 (Mac OS X)
previous version and it didn't run full screen. This was a problem, for me, with KDE. Does this version run full screen as, if it does, it will be faster than X-Darwin. [alert admin]

distinguish between UK (imperial) volumes and US ones? _kung_foo_: I object to your xenophobic opinion. The UK uses metric and imperial measurements, FYI. [alert admin]

If Flash files can be de-compiled and it's a problem for you, choose something else. Code obfuscation is a total waste of time - I know as I worked on SafeCast for the Mac.
