LaCie LightScribe Labeler 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Doesn't Work

Just bought a Lightscribe Lacie D2 Drive and can't print the labels because the labeler won't work! I called Lacie Tech Support, and they basically told me I'm SOOL and I'm going to have to wait till they release a bug release. How about maybe putting that in their advertising for the drives. "Lightscribe for Mac without the Lightscribe labeling!" [alert admin]

Olympus DSS Player 1.3.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Works!

Got this to work...if you don't have the older version of DSS to update go here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/DSS_MacOS_10.sit It will auto download the installer. NOTE: When you install the updater, make sure you install into the DSS PLAYER FOR MAC folder, or it will not install. Only took me about 20 tries to get it right! [alert admin]

WebPrint Plus X 3.0 (Mac OS X)

Never worked properly

Upgraded to webprint 2.1 from printmagic in October. Never really worked properly for me...program kept telling me that I was selecting the same material, and to click the webprint button, even though it was not the same material. Had to reselect and click the button over and over to get it to work. I thought it maybe was a Safari thing and that it would be corrected in a bug fix or something... Having to pay another $20 to get it to work stings. Developer has every right to set his update/upgrade rules, and it's not the only time I've been stung before. But it doesn't mean I have to like it and go along. Not upgrading. [alert admin]
