Get Tube 2.2 (Mac OS X)
I agree with the previous reviewer. The one-click ease of use is fantastic, but I don't go to You-Tube to LISTEN to the videos. This will be truly useful when it can get the audio AND video and then save it as a Quicktime Mov file. [alert admin]

MacPool 4.0.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I think the 'smoked window' is a rather nice touch. The computer voice commenting on your shots is a bit cheesy but I think you get your $10 worth. It doesn't have the polish of professional software but it's not too bad either. [alert admin]

LAME QuickTime MP3 Encoder Component 1.02 (Mac OS X)
It works great on my PowerPC Mac (G4) but latest word (as of 28 July 2006) is that it does NOT work on the Intel based macs yet (like my new iMac). we are waiting for the author to port it over to a universal binary. But I am very pleased with how it performs on my G4. I use it with Sound Studio to take AIFF files and compress them into MP3s and it does an excellent job. [alert admin]

I also don't know what the problem is. A few moments ago I downloaded MTR 2.6.6 and I have it ripping a DVD for me right now. No muss, no fuss. About as simple as it can possibly get.

the easy answer is "get a Mac" and put windows on it. That way you can run this game on the Mac side and still use Windows for your daily work.

Pulling Xvid out worked great for me. Before when I would try to type the first character of the serial number Toast 8 would crash. After I pulled Xvid out I was able to enter the serial number with no problem and Toast 8 is working just fine.

It will NEVER happen! Besides the issue of the gazillion variations of hardware that Jobs doesn't have any desire to support there's also the issue of trying to compete in the 'bottom-dollar' Gateway/Dell market. Steve Jobs has absolutely NO desire to go there. The closest you'll EVER see to something like that is the Mac Mini. Did you notice that when OSX first came out for the intel platform that everybody and…
