At least now when I repair permissions, all the messages about things that cannot be repaired are gone ! Does this mean everything is cool ? Why was it not before ? [alert admin]

Drive Genius 2.2.1 (Mac OS X)

Defrag quits !!!

This version quits on me while using defrag, happened a few times using different Macs. I don't know if it's because I'm now running Snow Leopard, or this version of DG, but older versions, running on Leopard and Tiger, NEVER happens !! Strange, but luckily so far I have not lost any data. The app just quits "unexpected", but using Disk Utility I can mount the drive. Any suggestions ?? [alert admin]

Toast Titanium 10.0.3 (Mac OS X)

GOOD !

So far so good - no problems. Yes it did take some time to download this big file, but other apps are also updated, like CD Spin Doctor, etc. (Snow Leopard-10.6.1) [alert admin]

Same here - will NOT open !

Very annoying ! It will not open and I had to write to developer. Really....every time there's an update or upgrade I had to go through many steps and emails before I get it to work. It shouldn't be like this. [alert admin]

Come On....???

They should tell you - this is a trial version ! I really don't understand why they don't give you the full version ! Very annoying and troublesome to go and "look" for the full version. I have v.2.2.2 and when I used the "check for update" option, it tells me I'm up-to-date and I have the latest version !! [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.6.1 (Mac OS X)

This is not a bad update, Snow Leopard is heading at the right direction. Generally I don't have any major problems. On one of my Macs sometimes I have problem ejecting a volume, just occationally, specially ext. FW/USB drives. Also, it'll be good if some one will give us a driver that works with PCIe eSTAT cards on 10.6. So far ALL drivers are imcompaible. I have a couple external eSATA drives. [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 9.0 (Mac OS X)

NICE !

No problems. Determining gapless playback only took about a minute. I always keep my songs seperate and not imported to iTunes - only the playlist. And I keep them organized, not iTunes. That way I'll always know where everything is. Anyway, this version is good, so far I'm loving it. [alert admin]

I'm not using Sonnet. I'm using a card from G-Technology. When I run disk utilities (under Snow Leopard), there are no errors or messages. I don't know Beatrice, may be there'll be problems later on, or may be not, but so far it has worked good for me.

Re-install the driver - this works for me. I have two eSATA external drives and now they work perfectly. You'll notice that you have no driver (anymore) in Sys Pref, and once you re-install the SI13132 driver everything is cool.
